The file has to be named patch.mod for pockettool to see it (unless you hex edit pockettool, heh). I assume the point of putting it in a zip is to be able to name the file something meaningful.
Files names can be unique now. All mods must be placed in /sdcard/Android/data/com.snowbound.pockettool.free/Patches.
This change was required in order to have multiple mods be installed with ease plus have an undo function (removes only the specified mod from minecraft).
The server mods would overwrite each other when patched into the game, so no, you cannot have multiple server mods installed. Only the most recently patched server mod would work.

I was zipping them up because phones won't download them unzipped, actually.
That's an awesome update; so would placing them as patch.mod still work, or do I have to update install instructions?
I have always wondered this but why can't notch just do a full port of the desktop version.
its all java and the only changes would be controls and rendering =p.
I bet someone has done a port out there and playing right now.
The server of Minecraft Desktop already runs, but porting rendering would take ages, and it would be unbearably slow, thus, it won't work.

Update the instructions. It no longer references /sdcard/patch.mod. You can still use patch.mod as a file name but it is recommend to give unique names to mods.
There's a sneaky little change to the parameters of glFrustumf that controls Field of View (FOV aka Fish eye is a wider field of view). Not exactly sure how darkfurry5 and Intyre were able to do it. Will investigate soon.
MC PE doesn't seem to call glFrustumf, gluPerspective is used instead

Thanks for the heads up; is there any official instructions that I should link to?
darkfurry and Intyre sent me how they did it; I've tracked down the equivalent code on Android. Someone else is trying to port it also, though.

Can anyone kelp with the smooth lighting mod? I have the Kyocera Echo, dual-screen android phone/tablet. It's a snapdragon device that shows the triangles, yet it says on this topic that snapdragon devices are compatible. Help please?

The thread says that Snapdragon devices "seem" to be compatible. The compatibility isn't based on the CPU itself, but on the GPU of the device. The Kyocera Echo has an Adreno 200 GPU which in your case seems to be incompatible with ambient occlusion. The Xperia Play also has a Snapdragon but has an Adreno 205 GPU which is compatible and also has all around better performance over the Adreno 200.

Many IP's would show up when you press Join Game

That's awesome! It looks legitimate. You are a much better modder than I am; I tried this before and couldn't figure it out. I'll try that right now.
I don't know how to port that

More info on these GPUs: http://en.wikipedia....aming_to_Adreno
Ahh yes, that is true, my Echo is rooted though, and it has Chainfire3D installed. This Chainfire3D is another GPU driver. I will look into it though.
EDIT: Chainfire3D supports an EGL Driver. Maybe if i install it then it can work for Adreno 200 devices.
was my last try to port IOS fish eye mod lol
i think it must be error..
i'll just give you the link!
