Yes, thank you. I ended up having to install original 0.4.0 from installous, then 0.4.0 rev 2 from the app store and crack it. So I just had to reinstall a fresh copy

Even if I did start modding for a short while, another revision would just pop up out of the blue and have more of you asking for updates again. I'm waiting for the revisions to stabilize before releasing smooth shader, otherwise if this pattern of revisions persists, I will only release mods on major updates instead of every revision.
