In 0.3.2 chests were modified by 500 ISE and were able to get partially working chests. Creepers were only textures and were barely functional, you couldn't unlock them at all.
0.3.3: Creepers are now functional via hex editing, although underpowered it is believed to be for testing purposes so that the devs could test to make sure they explode properly and try to get behind you without exploding from 3-4 blocks away, thus getting nerfed to 1 block!
Its a possibility more functions were added to chests and can be unlocked, and that modders didn't look into it yet, are too lazy, or don't have the time to do it. *I believe 500 ISE is on vacation, Intyre stopped making mods(?) and I don't know anything about Dark furry or other modders...*
Ur post makes no sence If u did ur research u should know that 500ISE changed the furmace into chests he just retextured furmace and added some extra slots into it so u werent able to smelt anything... And chests still dont have coding
No. He changed the TileEntities file from the furnace to the one of the chest. The change is whst made Furnaces useless... But he didnt retextured anything. YOU should do your research.

Excuse me? My post doesn't make sense? With your grammar your post doesn't make sense either. If you did some research you would of known...
1. The only way an item can be unlocked is by replacing a different item, in this case a furnace. They were NOT rextextured furnaces!
2.Chests had enough coding to have only 5 slots that can stack 5 items per slot.
3. It's possible new coding was added upon from 0.3.2 to 0.3.3.
Get your facts straight before accusing me of not knowing about chests because chests DEFINETLY had coding and there's a high possibility that 0.3.3 added on that!

No, I don't know who. Where did you get this information? I won't believe it until Jocopa3 or Darkfurry says themselves. I don't want anyone else pulling an Intyre.
Mods stopped being important from me. At least iOS mods. I think that both users and modders alike have been a bit rude. (I dont mean all of them, 500 ISE and Jocopa are pretty nice people which I havent seen in a fight like that) And then we get the information from a user saying that there will no longer be mods... It is sad, because almost all the impatient people were noobs... Intyre suddenly vanished from the forums and created his own private server... We really need to progress guys. Accept it. We are the most childish community. The iOS vs Android wars are a clear example, or the guy that claimed has the real MCPEU... ( I arent saying that we all are bad, but not only the noobs are culprit. There are some experienced members that love flame wars and doesnt respect peoples opinion) It is a shame... Because we just recieved the patcher...

I realized this was the most childish community when I joined the community. And I've loved it ever since.
I didnt said that he was impatient. He even helped me in some things, I said that because of impatient noobs we dont get mods, I actually respect Intyre, I know what he does, and that it isnt easy, but I dont find it correct to send some random user to say that the mods have been canceled, shouldnt he tell us?

That. How is it possible that he quited so abruptly? If he really quited, then he couldnt told you that there wouldnt be mods anymore. And if he did told you, he could have easily posted that he wouldnt continue modding.

I believe you. But why didnt he made a simple post saying that there will no longer be mods. And I meant public. What is more public than MCForums to everything MC? You havent said that other way of comunication, do you?
