I have tried using what videos and notes online said about port forwarding, but I cannot seem to get my friend to join from another modem/router. What do I do? the port is 19132 I know, my ip I just have to type it in Google to find out, and the server name is whatever I want, the query has to be permanently enabled. Any suggestions on how to make this work?

Try to create new server if it not working contacts adminsator or anyone else.

Install droidpocketmine on your android device

Go to a browser like chrome or safari or whatever you use and type in 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.1.0 and login

Go to port triggering/port forwarding

Add a new service

The ip will be the ip of your android device which you can find out by going to settings wifi advanced. It'll look something like 192.168.1. a random number

The starting and ending port will be 19132

Make sure service type is UDP

If that doesn't work let me know

Nope, I bought MCPE and all I used is texture packs and skins, no mods

Install blocklauncher for free and choose the Multiplayer Option(Whatever you called.)
Singup wait a sec then join some servers.

Your public IP: http://whatsmyip.org (you might of been using a LAN address)
If you portforwarded your IP to 19132 then you won't havw to type the port in Minecraft PE.
Make sure you portforwarded the right device!

I have no idea what you're doing wrong. Can you make a video of you setting it up so we can maybe see what you're doing wrong

Do I have to port a server using a different device? Example creating a server on my phone and porting it with my laptop? Maybe that's what I did wrong, but I cannot be sure

porting it with your laptop? You port forward with your router

When you reply make sure you hit the button that says "quote" so I get a notification when you reply
