I figured out a way to get spawn eggs in survival mode using an inventory editor.
What i used is EmendoMC 5.0 which was released here on this forum a while ago. But im sure it will works for other inventory editor as well.
Steps
1) open up your inventory editor and select the world u want to edit
2) add an item or modify an item
3) set item ID to 383
4) Set item count to the amount of spawn egg u want
5) set damamge to 10, 11, 12, or 13
Damage 10 = chicken
Damage 11 = cow
Damage 12 = pig
Damage 13 = Sheep
For more advanced people im sure you can hex edit the spawn egg to spawn hostiles mobs as well. There are quite a few hex editor out there.

U could do that or (using that same inventory editor and the creative utilities mod) on creative mode put all of your spawn eggs in a chest (eggs come back upon leaving and entering the world) and change the mode to survival with emendo and your eggs are there u can get unlimited eggs too but only 5 at a time

I posted a video a couple weeks ago with a tutorial and a downloadable level.dat file for ios users. Check it out here:
I also found out a couple days later that music discs are coded, in this video:
I was trying to hex edit in hostile mobs (you can do the same through pocketinveditor) by changing the damage number on the spawn eggs to the data id number of the hostile mobs. That's why in the video you see "Spawn Creeper", etc, but you only see the music discs. Anyway, have fun with that and there is a download link for that level.dat file in the first video.
