Did it say that after you tried to patch in the terminal? Remove the patch from your /usr/bin/, redownload it, place it back in the /usr/bin/ and then patch in the terminal again.
I can give you a hint for a method to make it so there is no fog unless you are farther than 256 blocks away, but I don't know how to remove all fog. This is practically useless without increased render distance, since you won't be able to see chunks far away, just nearby.
At 0005EC64 change 2C00 90 E5 to 00 00 A0 E3. That changes
LDR R0, [R0,#2C]
which means load the value 2C into register 0 to
MOVT R0, #0
which means move 0 to the top halfword of register 0.

I will start porting tomorrow!Did not expect someone who still cares about this .patch since the iOS patcher is released!
I almost thought our team will be closed forever or something like that since the patcher is easier to install mod. So our installation must be easier too, that is why we are making a cydia repo!
