So I was messing around with EmendoMC and I was trying to spawn hostile mobs. I put in their id's for the damage of item 383 (spawn egg) and I found records! They don't spawn anything and are probably useless but is something cool to throw into am adventure map. I would upload a picture but idk how :P.

If you want a specific icon:
Minecraft organizes all its icons starting with 0 at the top-left corner and 255 on the bottom right. E.g. if the game asks for icon 0, it gets a leather cap. If it asks for 16, it gets the leather tunic icon.
To translate an egg's damage value to an icon, Minecraft just adds 214 to the damage. So if you want to, say, get a fake diamond:
- Find diamond's icon number. It's 55.
- x + 214 = 55; x = 55 - 214 = -159
- So edit in an egg with damage -159
This glitch, in my opinion, is much better than the previous way to make fake items (using a certain range of invalid item IDs), as you can hold these without crashing the game.

I figured out how to do this on ios. im not 100% sure but if im correct its 214 - the area number thing
I got it! I either figured out a second way or the iOS way!!!!!!!! the leather cap (top left corner) is 42 for its damage. now count up from there to find your item. what you counted to is what the damage should be. Golden apple should be 53.

Curse PremiumOK, maybe this only works on Android then. It worked for me in PocketInvEditor.
Oh I found the problem. It doesn't allow me to make the damage this number on EmendoMC and imcpedit. Can I hex edit?
I wish my android still worked. Stupid Ron manager saying cyanogen 10.1 was stable. Now after an attempted fix I get the yellow triangle of DEATH

Curse PremiumI'm afraid I don't know much about Samsung devices - try Googling? You might still be able to fix that.
