Minecraft Server Status Checker

This is made to check server status

well, some users could be using 3G or 4G to play multiplayer.

But going to the forum just to check a server availability would take lots of time.

So i thought i could make a CUI version of it for the IOS

I made a java version too.. why..ummm... no idea

IOS

Instructions:

What you need:

1: ifile (cydia)

2: MobileTerminal (cydia)

3: python installed on your phone (cydia)

4: Any app that can download files (app store)

Steps:

1: Download it with the Download app u got from app store

2: Open ifile

3: find /var/mobile/Applications/*/Documents/ServerCheck.py

4: Copy it

5: Return to /var/mobile

6: Paste it there

7: Close file and open mobileTerminal

8: in it do this

su, alpine(unless u change password), python ServerCheck.py

9: Follow the instructions there!

How to delete servers:

1: Open ifile

2: go to /var/mobile

3: Find "Server_List_Data"

4: click it and choose "Text Viewer"

How the file is written:

(Name)
(Server IP)
(Port)
(Name)
(Server IP)
(Port)
(Name)
(Server IP)
(Port)
This goes on if there is more server slots

5: Click "Edit" and change all you like

6: Click save

7: Done

If u ever notice(u will if u tried using it),

There is a list option.

That is to save a server into it so when u open it again the next round,

simply choose list, 2(for refresh), and u will see the availibility

of the server!

This application would be good if it displayed the number of players online, version, icon, motd and latency like the minecraft client does in the multiplayer screen. I would rather not have to launch the entire minecraft game (and use up resources on my computer) just so I can check the status of some minecraft servers.
