I'm not a person asking "Hey I want to make mods, how do I do this (list steps 1 through X)". I would like someone to simply say "Hey, could you give me an explination as to why this works", or "Why does X not do Y" to, and get an honest, helpful answer from them. As the title says, I'm on iOS, and I have all of the tools set up for me to get started (IDA, MCPEModmaker/patchmaker). I actually used these programs and compiled a few .mod files for a good 3 or 4 hours, but it was very difficult to accomplish anything with the problems and questions I kept running into.
If anyone who has experience with this has any time to share with me on this topic I'd greatly appreciate it. I mostly use Steam so that would be the most desired form of communication, but if you have something else I can get in contact with you on I'm open to using it. I'd really like to dedicate some of my free time to this (a lot after this Thursday, which is my last day of school), and I think it would be a fun experience for me and others if I started contributing to the MCPE community.
i've been running into the same problems. I use old, outdated information and tutorials that no longer work, and it makes things pretty difficult. Things are not as easy to find in ida as they used to be, and i have no clue how to find what i am looking for anymore.
Actually, not many of us modders are willing to help u out as much as possible as long as u are not rude and not just keep saying "It doesn't work!" without trying over and over again and trying to learn things yourself

I hope you find someone to help you.

U can just pm us to help u if u ever need help
Just keep trying and do things on your own instead of just complaining that things doesn't work >.<

Great! But would it be possible to use some sort of faster, alternative means of communication?
Apparently my assumption that everyone who has a computer and plays video games has a Steam is wrong. I don't know, I hate Skype, but I can probably grab it just for this occasion.
Age is but a number. If he can help, who cares, right?
That said, I've seen him around the forums quite a bit, so he should be trustworthy. (I've been too lazy to check his history on my phone. :/ )

I am computer literate, if that helps.
Thanks!
