You must give full permissions to the 3 folders.

I dont have the /cache/dalvik-cache/ what do i do

Where it says "Other" you need to check all the boxes.

I use the file manager built into cyanogen mod.

Look in the settings to enable root mode.

Am not using a rom and i am alrwady rooted

I meant the settings of the file manager.

I already did

Try making a folder of the same name where you cant see it and see if it appears.

Did not work. I am going to try do a factor reset ,and if that dose not work i will wipe the phone.

Just checked the folder on my unrooted nexus 4 and the folder doesn't show.

On es file explorer go to settings. Under other settings there's root settings. Go into there, check root explorer and check mount file system.

There's at least 3 folders in /cache. I'm back on my rooted sgs3 and the dalvik-cache folder only shows when I give the file manager root.
