Nyan now has CAVES! Im pretty sure I don't have to show pics for proof since its clear im not scamming from several pages of proof and positive feedback.

This is another map imported with quite a few ravines, and tons of caves along with 1 dungeon. No mineshafts in fear that if Lava made contact with one, it would destroy your world. This map terrain consist of a half and half forest and snow biome!


INSTRUCTIONS
What I did was, I used iExplorer on my PC, went to com.mojang.pe in applications, went to documents, kept clicking the top folder until I found "minecraftWorlds" then I extracted my "Arthomix" folder to my desktop and dragged it into the minecraftWorlds folder in iExplorer. Enjoy

If you really want caves , abandoned mineshafts, and ravines JUST LIKE the PC, then simply port a map that has all that stuff from PC to MCPE. I simply ported a PC map from Minecraft PC edition to Pocket Edition Any block thats currently unavaliable on PE and ported from PC will disappear. This allows PC like caves, lava caves, and abandoned mineshafts missing chests, railroads, etc. I took 3 pics of the long caves in the map, the cave goes on too long for me to take a bunch of pics, its a pain.

Well, perhaps someone can start porting over famous PC seeds to MCPE and give off a download link for them

Should I put up a download for the map Im using? It has quite a large cave system, with some sugar canes you can grow, and 40 clay bits.

Your welcome, incase you don't know, its an island, so theres multiple cave entrances, look around. Make sure to stock up on torches or just explore it to see if its legit using creative, dont care, just have fun!

I don't know now to port, and I suck at computer files.

You know how to get the maps you downloaded loaded into MCPE via iExplorer, or if your Android, whatever you use for that, right??

I just downloaded the map. Do I just drag the files into my iPhone via iExplorer same as replacing textures?I think I just figured it out. Just drag the folder over and it creates a new save game. Cool. What is the player.day file? Didn't see one in my other game folders.

Errr I did this....

I went to the application in Iexplorer, Com.mojang.minecraftpe

Then I went to documents, keep going through the same folder until you come across the folder named MinecraftWorlds. Put the file I uploaded in there, then go and play the map and have fun with caves xP.

I don't really like the new generation so I'd rather wait until they put in caves for the old generation for pocket edition

Maybe I'm doing something wrong? I've tried two worlds saved from my laptop, both became creative worlds instead of survival and both ended up with the exact same layout NOT having caves, structures, etc...any ideas?

What I'm doing, saving zip file of world folder from PC, emailing to iPhone, opening zip in ifile, moving to worlds folder in MCPE, extracting world.

Not yet, I thought people here could share there maps with caves in them. This cave map works fine with me if you followed my instructions.

Android has that mod, but the caves suck to be honest. There small and don't really add up to exploration. These PC like caves are much more larger and add so much for exploration for both iOS and Android

You have to download the map, the seed itself won't generate the caves I've shown in pics, the PC version of Arthomix does but not PE, its completely different. But yes this map does have diamonds

Well, you if you want, you can port over a PC map with awesome terrain generation then port it over to PE using MCedit.

If you haven't noticed, this is a PC port of the map....it does have a chance of hitting lava, I checked in MCedit. No lava bug starts until lava touches something actually flammable.
