Hi I'm making a resource pack based on a theme, so I've been drawing and naming a lot of the items something else. But I was wondering if it were possible to replace an ingredient in a crafting recipe with a different (but existing) item?
For example, if I made Cake look like Apple Pie and named it that using the resource pack, would it be possible to replace Milk in the recipe with an Apple? Because it would not make sense for Apple Pie not to have Apples, or replace any of the other ingredients really, and if I made a bucket of Milk look like a bucket of Apples with the resource pack, it still wouldn't make any sense to be able to milk Apples from a Cow, would it?
Is there a file where I can access the recipe(s)? Or can anyone possibly copy the code that MCPE uses for it if you are able to find it? Btw I'm using IOS so no new items for me! Thanks!
<span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">You can use the 'recipes' file in the resource pack in the 'minecraft' folder which is obviously in the 'assets' folder. If you look up the json recipe, or if you already know the code in the 'cake.json' you can edit that in Notepad++. This is the code in the cake.json file:</span>
