I discovered it... A minute ago. It was nothing new, just playing with one of my doors, and I noticed something strange.. When I was rapidly opening and closing it, it goes "Chchick" "Chch" right? Then all of a sudden, the sound just stops playing, It happens while opening and closing. It just makes no noise... Then! The noise comes back... Then stops again... Then it comes back!
It's not a bug, what happens is, the two (or more) sounds override each other. Basically, too many sounds play at the same time and it ends up in silence. If you were to spawn millions of mobs that make sounds, you'd find that sometimes, there's a pause with complete silence, especially if there's Minecraft music playing in Minecraft. That must have happened because you spammed your door and an animal or something made another sound that made the sounds collide with each other. Did I put it in an understandable way?

I think you meant the sounds "collided" with each other. But you could still say the two sound FILES going at the same time did override each other. All in all, I think we get what your're saying.

Yeah, I guess colliding is a better way to put it, therefore, my post = edited
