How are mods For pocket edition cheating? I'm confused to how Increasing Render Distance, Romoving Fog, Adding Smooth Lighting, or Extra Inventory Slots are cheating. Do you mean Hex Editing items in is cheating? It isn't if I hex edit out two sticks and 3 iron ore and replace it with an iron pic.

If you don't like the current mods, make your own! All you need is a demo version of IDA, GDB and a decrypted MCPE binary file from iOS. First explore the binary file in IDA and look for something (it's all written in ARM instruction sets so you might wanna learn how to read that first) and when you find something, edit it, save the hex value and offset. Then run GDB, ssh into your iPhone, navigate to MCPE's binary location and run the app. Now all you have to do is find the variable in GDB that you want to edit, change it, and have fun!
Alternatively, you can translate the ARM into hex and replace the hex data of the part you want to mod, then put the app back on your device and run it (has to be decrypted and needs an overdrive dynamic library injected into it)! It's as easy as that! And when you want to release, figure out how to abide Minecraft's terms of service not to distribute any of their code and have it do what I just said!
--Did I mention that an overdrive dynamic library means your app is cracked? That means...it's illegal to distribute iOS mods because we'd have to crack the app then install the mod, which is against most all laws. Wow, that sucks
