So i was going through the hex codes on pe a while ago. I stumbled upon multiple codes for cobble. It wasn't for the inventory, because mine was already changed. That made me think. Would there be a way to get into the chunks data, and change, (dirt for example) into lets say, lava? Or even diamond ore? I hope you understand what im talking about. Anyways, if any of you have played Minebuilder, you can do something similar, but the code isnt in hex. Totally readable to any newbies. So, please help, give me feedback on if this could be accomplished on pe. Thanks.
You obviously dont see where im getting at mate. I know how to hex edit. Im talking about the world itself. I want to change EVERY block of dirt for example, into something else. Like. Gold maybe. Idk, just an example.
I've seen these values you're talking about. They look like they're part of the inventory, but they're not assigned to valid spots in it.
I don't think it's for the blocks in the world. Those would be in the chunks.dat file.
My best guess is that it's a list of all inventory items that aren't infinite. Any "unofficial" blocks that are hacked in are always infinite by default. It's the limited stacks that seem to be getting special treatment in the code, and I think that is what those data values are.
Ok, do you mean change value for dirt in chunks.dat (dirt as an example) for diamond so that by changing that one value, all dirt in your' world (not inventory) is diamond?
So you'd have a layer of diamond covering the majority of the map instead of dirt.
Good idea, dunno if it'd work. just wanted to clarify.
Couldnt explain it better but yea. Thats exactly what i mean. I think it could open much more possibilities with creations. For example, a survival world. Under bedrock is void. In other words, nothing. You fall endlessly to your death. So, some ideas would be to take out everything, dirt, bedrock, cobble, ores, ect, so all you have is void. But, first make a platform so you could implement a more detailed skyblock survival, rather than just being in the middle of some endless ocean. You get what im talking about? so much more could be done. Thanks for all the feed back to guys, really appreciate your thought!
