This mod adds new ores and alloys through the vanilla dimensions. Overworld contains common ores and alloys, while Nether adds fantasy ores and alloys then End adds "galactic ores". Also, this mods doesn't add new machines or/and tools that Vanilla doesn't provide, but uses nuggets instead to craft alloys. So, you don't lose the vanilla feel. Other mods add "new items" to process ores, like "dust" or "hammer", but I choose to do easier. Also, I personnaly like the golden nugget, but what about more nuggets from different metals?
I was inspired from Terraria for this mod, with the idea of "progression and ore requirement".
By the way, my native language isn't English, so It is possible there is mistakes. If there is any, feel free to tell me. Thanks for your understanding !

Informations
General informations
Each metal has a set of tools, armor, sword, nugget, ingot, block and 3 ores from different dimensions. However, some ores are only available in Creative mode, but you can get as an alloy or with the natural spawn of an ore. You can use these unobtainable ores to customize your world !
All ores can be smelt into ingots. Ingots can be crafted into blocks or nuggets with the same recipe as vanilla. Tools and armor have the same recipe shape as Vanilla. But Alloys are specific and the recipe is shapeless. Be sure to check below !
Each metals are classified by :
Durability : How much uses you get.
Efficiency : How quick the tool mine.
Harvest Level : Which block you can mine.
Damage : How much damage you deal against entities.
Enchantability : How powerful an enchantement can be.
Resistance : How much the armor protects.
I use relatives values to vanilla tools.
Overworld
Copper, Tin and Zinc
Copper, Tin and Zinc are commonly found at any level in the Overworld. The vein can be 10 blocks large.
They are not really useful despite the mining speed. It should be used in alloys. You can gather them with wooden tools.

Harvest Level : Same as gold (and wood)
Damage : Same as gold
Enchantability : Lesser than gold
Resistance : Lesser than gold
Silver
Silver is found below the sea, less frequent than Iron but more than Gold. It is not useful alone too, but it mines quicker than copper, but slower than gold. It is less enchantable too. You can gather it with stone tools.
Durability :Same as gold
Efficiency :Lesser than gold, but more than copper
Harvest Level :Same as gold (and wood)
Damage :Same as gold
Enchantability : a bit esser than gold
Resistance :Lesser than gold

Durability :Same as Diamond
Efficiency : Same as Diamond
Harvest Level : Same as Diamond
Damage : Same as Diamond
Enchantability : Same as Diamond
Resistance : Same as Diamond

Efficiency : Lesser than gold
Harvest Level : Same as Stone
Damage : Same as Gold
Enchantability : Same as Copper/Zinc/Tin
Resistance : Same as Copper/Zinc/Tin
Bronze
Bronze is a good alloy made from copper and tin. It combines cheap materials into a strong one. Iron stills better, but Bronze provides a substitute for those who live in mountains.
Durability : Lesser than Iron, but better than Brass
Efficiency : A bit lesser than Iron
Harvest Level : Same as Iron
Damage : Same as Iron
Enchantability : A bit lesser than Iron
Resistance : Lesser than Iron
Steel
Steel is stonger than Iron. But the enchantability drops. It is made from iron and coal.
Durability : Much better than Iron
Efficiency : A bit better than Iron
Harvest Level : Same as Iron
Damage : A bit better as Iron
Enchantability : A bit lesser than Iron
Resistance : A bit better than Iron
Galvanized Iron and Steel
By combining 8 Iron nuggets or Steel nuggets and 1 zinc nugget, you can increase the durability by 50. But it drops the enchantability. Others properties are the same.

Efficiency : Better than Iron
Harvest Level : Better than Iron (Same as Diamond)
Damage : A bit better than Iron (Same as Diamond)
Enchantability : Better than Iron

Hi, the new update (seems to) supports Tinker's Construct (version1.1.0). I added Electrum and Lead too for this mod. However, you can only use the metals that Tinker's Construct supports.
I am pretty sure that in the config of tinkers contruct, you can add ores just by putting their names in some places. I am not confirming this but it is a possibility
I saw that there is a stable version of Forge 1.9. I will make an update this week-end I think.
About the todo-list, I had the idea that if you craft wooden tools with birch, spruce or other wood, there will be in other color. But I couldn't find out how to because the vanilla crafting overrides it. So, wooden and stone tools variants will be in a other day.
Then, about horse armor. To do this, I need to edit the horse "file". This means I need to edit Vanilla features, and it can be buggy or even încompatible with other mods.
Next, I have some new ideas for the Nether. I will add a new alloy made from mythril and adamantium that combines each properties, instead of trying to improve them. Then, I will add Quartz tools to make a "stone-tier" toolset for nether. I want to make a "wood-tier" too, but I don't have any ideas about. Mithril and Adamantium will be "iron-tier" and Draconite "diamond-tier". But I want to have a tier higher than "diamond" in order to mine End's ores. Do you have any suggestions?
EDIT: Well, with the final exams, it will take more time. Sorry.
My exams are almost finished, I had free time to update the mod to 1.9. There isn't new addition for now, I want to know if I should to update the mod in 1.8.9.
Also, if you encounter some bugs, feel free to tell me in this topic please.
So, this mod seems to work very well for me (first one I've ever installed after 6 years of having the game!). Only issue is that ALL axes in the mod function as pickaxes instead. Also, you can't seem to make iron nuggets and therefore steel. I assume these are side effects of using the 1.9 release of the mod.

Simple but well done. Thumbs up!
Does this work with Tinker's Construct?

Well, it worked fine for me. I've got the copper, bronze, silver, lead and electrum tools part and liquids.

Maybe Uru, as in what Mjolnir is made of. For the "wood tier", I can't think of anything.
Have you got an idea about the color?

i have found a few glitches with the 1.9 version which should be fixed
1. the axes deal less damage than swords which im sure was intentional but in 1.9 axes should deal more damage because they hit slower
2. all armor piece leggings have more defence than the chestplates
3. axes mine trees at the same speed as using your fist
i would really appreciate it if you could fix these bugs
and this mod is awesome
edit: yup axes act as pickaxes
1.12.2 please?
