Paint Everything is a mod intended to simply add more color to your Minecraft world! This mod adds +282 new colored blocks/items to give you a variety of options when building your awesome creations. Do you want to use some Green Stone in your garden? How about some nice White Brick Stairs to replace those dull stairs you already have? Well, with Paint Everything, simply craft up some paint and some brushes, and you're ready to go! UPDATE: The most recent update of Paint Everything now allows you to simply right click on blocks you wish to paint. No more crafting! (Crafting is still available for those who wish to use it).
Can you really paint EVERYTHING ?
As this is a BETA release, not every item/block in the game is able to be painted. However, this mod does add 282 new blocks and items for you to use until the final version of this mod is released.
How do I get started in Paint Everything ?
To get things started, you are going to want to find some dye in the color you wish to paint your block. If you are unable to find the specific dye that you need, NO WORRIES! Paint Everything adds many ways of obtaining these colors! After you find some dye, you are going to want to craft up a Paint Can to store your paint! Here is how to do so:
Paint Can Recipe:
After crafting some paint cans, its time to fill them with paint! To do this, simply grab a color dye of your choosing, combine it with an empty paint can, and there you go! It's time to do some painting! Well, almost. You can't just go around throwing paint on blocks! We need to craft up some paint brushes in order to color those blocks! Simply shear a couple of sheep (or kill them, if you're that kind of person), grab a few sticks, and your set!
Paint Brush Recipe:
Now that you have to necessary items to get started in Paint Everything, its time to get started painting! First, combine your clean paint brush with any colored paint can, and you are ready! Take that paint brush, walk up to a block, and wallah! You've got yourself a painted block! If you would like to return the block to its original state, simply make a paint scrapper and scrape off the paint, or paint over it with a different color!
How many colors are available in Paint Everything ?
Every block that can be painted comes in 15 different colors. These colors are Black, Red, Green, Brown, Blue, Light Blue Purple, Gray, Light Gray. Cyan, Pink, Lime, Yellow, Orange, & White!
What all can be painted in Paint Everything ?
Instead of listing off the extensive list of paint blocks, how about I just show you in some (not so) awesome screenshots!

YOU LIED! I THOUGHT YOU SAID 282 NEW BLOCKS !?!?
Ah, you are correct, that's not 282 new blocks. But you forgot one thing, each one of these block (excluding Sand), has a stair version, as well as a fence version, in each of the 13 DIFFERENT COLORS!!!!
So how do you make these new stairs and fences?
To make the new stairs (only new one is Stone Stairs), you use the exact same recipe that you do with Vanilla Stairs. However, in order to craft up some fences, you will need to use the following recipes:
Fences (switch out stone w/ other blocks to make different fences)
You said something about obtaining colors, how?
Well, if you are unable to find a dye while exploring, there is no reason you shouldn't still be able to paint with that color! Simply combine two paint cans in a crafting table, and you will get a new color out of it! Paint Everything uses real life paint mixing combinations, so if you need to how to make color, just use those art skills from Pre-School (or be a cheater and use Google).
Okay, I'm ready to paint, where can I find a download?

The best way to stay updated with my day to day progress (along with any streaming / YouTube stuff) is to follow me on twitter @TheKwestionMark
Hey! I liked your mod, so I decided to make a mod review for it! It would mean a lot to me if you could check it out
Also, I noticed there was a typo with the Red Paint Can, it was named the, "Red Paint Can Can"
You can check it out here, thanks
Awesome man! I watched the video, and I need to fix those few bugs (this is a beta version). Also when you tried to use the paint can and the brush, you needed to use a clean paintbrush, you were using a white one! But thanks man, that was awesome!
Wow, Thanks for the positive feedback! It means a lot, it really does! oh! Haha stupid me! xD I should of been able to figure that out! Thanks for telling me haha good luck with your mod, I hope it gets big!
I got an idea. How about making it so that when you paint a block, only the side of the block that you right clicked on will change color. For example, I can change the color of one side of stone to blue, and another side of the same block to red. This will allow for some great creations, and it may not even require new blocks; you could just apply different textures per side, kind of like how pumpkins have faces on only one side. Of course, doing that on every block in the game would cause lag, but only blocks you have painted on will have different textures depending on what side you painted on.

Similar ideas are in the works. I have only been learning java for less than month, but once I start to gain more knowledge, features similar to this will be added.
