RF Lasers 2.0.0A1 (Alpha) for Minecraft Forge 1.7.10
All the power and convenience of a mining laser, but with the backbone of Redstone Flux.
Description: I've always loved Industrial Craft 2's mining laser, but truthfully I've never been a huge fan of the EU energy system. This mod adds a laser powered by redstone flux which allows you to easily and conveniently mine from a distance. Right-clicking the laser (while it's charged, of course) will fire a beam of energy that breaks blocks. THIS MOD REQUIRES COFHCORE, WHICH YOU CAN FIND HERE.

This is a sneak peek at the next big release of RF Lasers. Everything has been overhauled. This is currently an alpha, so backup your world before importing the latest version.
Changes:
- Thermal Foundation and Thermal Expansion removed from dependencies.
- Tiered lasers replaced with a singular "modular" laser.
- Old recipes removed. (The recipes in place are temporary, expect them to change.)
- Heat-seeking mode removed. (Taking it back to the mining utility, yo.)
- Lenses and lense imprinter added. (Silk Touch and Fortune, hurrah!)
- NEI support for lense imprinter added.
- Most of the names are now localized.
Fixes:
- Render sync issues fixed. (How did I miss that before the last release?)

Changes:
- Added "heat-seeking" mode. This will probably be improved upon in the future.
- Changed textures and removed the laser models.
Fixes:
- Fixed ghost blocks issue.
Note: I AM looking for anyone with any semblance of skill in modelling to contact me!

How do you make it to mine 5x5 as in the picture? Different colors?
