Solid. I'd like to see the outside personally, but the inside looks nice. Good thing about basements is that they can always be expanded, so near infinite room for chest/farms/etc.. I'd add some spice to the floor and walls of the basement personally. Mix in different stones, make a pattern floor, anything. Stone just gets a bit bland to look at for me. It is a nice base, gj.

Can you post some pics of the outside?. I like your base. I have some suggestions on how to improve it though. I would put some walls up like stone brick walls, pop in a few cracked stone bricks for detail. You could use shroomlights or glowstone to light it up. There are other light blocks like redstone lamps and copper bulbs, but copper might take away the nostalgic vibes and redstone lamps are rather expensive in early game. Otherwise you're gonna get mobs spawning in your base if you don't get the light level up. The last thing you want is a creeper going off in there. I had that happen a few times back in the old days, it's really annoying and you can lose stuff as well, specially if they explode chests. So yeah you really need to get the light level up in there. Otherwise, it's a pretty good nostalgic base!. Also, I tend to work on my base as an ongoing project as I progress through the game. I usually start work on my base once I've beaten the game, just in case. I am a hardcore only player now, so that's more important for me.
