I am playing minecraft for quite some time, but I just started a new world with the goal to beat minecraft (kill the ender dragon) quickly.
But as soon as I entered the Nether I have been killed by laval like 3 times in one minute, and after that these slimes wait for me. So how to best "survive" the Nether to find the blazes in the fortress in order to win the game?
I mean, going to find iron for some armor is quite time intensive, and then you just need to fall into the lava and all is gone.
Maybe better to go into the Nether without anything, and just make your way like 5 blocks until you die because of something?
What is the best strategy here?
For now I am basically at the same location in the Nether and being killed off by magma cubes. Progress is maybe 1 block in 30 minutes. Is that normal for a beginner to "beat the game"?
Iron shouldn't be that time intensive to get? If it is, just go into the nether wearing nothing except one piece of Gold. You'll be more fragile, but the nether isn't that threatening. Alternatively, wait until you get enchanted diamond equipment. High levels of protection enchantments and health regeneration when fully saturated will go far.
Zombified piglins are passive. Don't hit them.
Piglins become passive if you're wearing a piece of gold equipment. Piglin Brutes will always be hostile, but are only in (or near) bastion remnants.
Enderman are passive unless you look at them.
Hoglins are hostile but not a major thread, and are confined to one biome.
Skeletons are a threat but are confined to one biome.
Ghasts can be run from and more or less ignored. Don't bridge directly over lava on a fragile platform (meaning, don't use netherrack to build over lava if you are susceptible to them spawning and sending you down into it)
Slimes can be run from, and are confined to one biome.
Blazes and wither skeletons are confined to nether fortresses.
So yeah, that leaves lava as your bug threat. Until you get the capability to craft fire resistance potions, your first trip will be the most dangerous, and even that is limited in danger.
Use a shield.
But if you're new and not very skilled, it's mostly something that might need to come with practice and experience.

Yes, I know all about the mobs, in my long-long-time world I have iron farms and even an enderman-farm(!). But for a "quick" game would it make sense to gather iron for an armour (will take at least one hour in caves and digging, using many many torches, pixaxes, food(!) etc.) to get one armor that can get lost by one small mistake in the Nether!
Or maybe just go in with no protection at all, make small progress, search for a fortress and hope you find one in the next 100 hours of play.
Is there a strategy to find a fortress??
And then I most likely will be killed like 10 times for each blaze rod anyway, lol...
I think the pie chart can be used to find them but I'm not sure how.
Nether fortresses and bastion remnants also have areas they will (and won't) spawn in, and if one spawns in that area, another won't be in the same area. This can be used to approximate where one may be.
Unfortunately, the nether having an enforced low render distance makes it more trouble to find too.

If you have access to a large exposed cave/ravine or stony mountain biome, iron armor shouldn't be time-consuming or costly to get. I would recommend it if you are less experienced in combat and want to avoid the frustration of repeatedly dying to mobs. Otherwise, if you find the process of gathering iron too much effort and is opting for a speedrun-style gameplay, then feel free to skip it.
As mentioned above, fire resistance potions (at least three or four for longer journeys) are ideal as lava is your biggest trouble. Piglin bartering is the only method for safely obtaining them (brewing the potions require blaze rods/powder and magma cream). Make sure a splash potion is in your hotbar so you can use it quickly in case of emergency, with more in your inventory.
Fortresses are more likely to spawn on the positive side of the X-axis, so the best way to find one is to travel due north or south while keeping your X-coordinate positive. A warped fungus on a stick can be useful as it enables you to ride striders across lava seas (and thus easily evade magma cubes), but if you are aiming for a quick game and haven't found a warped or crimson forest, feel free to skip this step. If you come across difficult terrain, consider mining through the nether ceiling, just below the bedrock layer. If a "wall" is in your way, mine through it until you expose another section of the nether. Big, open areas are the most likely places to find a fortress, but remember they can also generate partially embedded in netherrack.
Try to find a fortress that isn't in a warped forest or soul sand valley as there are fewer hostile mobs in those biomes, thereby allowing much more to spawn within the fortress structure.
Upon finding a fortress, I would recommend looking for the indoors half first. The entrance is always the most difficult stage because you don't have a safe shelter to retreat to, so listen for any wither skeletons before breaking in. If there are none, quickly secure the corridor or room you have entered by lighting it up and making two block high ceilings (since wither skeletons are 2.5 blocks high, they won't be able to reach you). From there, just explore around and continue to make two block high ceilings at each intersection, lighting up the corridors as you go. Turning on hitboxes can also help you see wither skeletons more easily.
Once you find the outside of the fortress, blazes will be your main danger. Consume a fire resistance potion, and I would recommend shooting at them with a bow as the potion does not protect you against their melee damage. The spawner spawns them in waves, so quickly retrieve the rods and then retreat whenever you have defeated a wave.

Is there a strategy to find a fortress?? Honestly, searching for the fortress is pure random mathematics. Sometimes you think that the chances of finding it are lower than getting a good bonus here.

I agree about securing the first room of the fortress. Once you block the entrance and light things up, the rest of the exploration becomes much more manageable.
There used to be a suggestion that travelling NE or SW in the Nether was the best way to find one, but dunno if that still applies. As for travelling in the Nether, without any Fire res potions, you just gotta be careful, watch your step, and maybe gain some height so you can travel via mining thru the netherrack where you can, watching out for the "hidden" lava blocks in the netherrack. Make sure you take some cobble or other Ghast proof block for bridging small lava areas if necessary. If you find a fortress, try and pick off a few blazes on the fortress itself, don't try a spawner. Need a nice set of crossing galleries, preferably in the netherrack, where you can block the arches at the junctions to leave a 1x2 doorway for you to get thru and snipe from them.

If you're having performance concerns with Minecraft, I hope this may prove useful.
A retrospective of the most important game to me (or, a try to stay awake while I never stop talking about something challenge).

Finding fortresses naturally is a bit of luck.
