In my 1.15.2 Hardcore world I have uncovered the largest swamp by surface i have ever seen. When first started and explored I knew that the swamp closest to my house/spawn was large, even believing it to lead to an ocean (though i was wrong). There is only a single witch hut in the whole biome surprisingly.
Here are screenshots taken of the map I made, most areas explored belong to this behemoth of a swamp.
Here I went into unmined (thanks to TheMasterCaver for this tool) and put in the seed and took a screenshot to truly and more properly view the boundary of the swamp.

A Single witch hut in that big of an area seems disappointing, but at least it looks like you have several other swamps nearby. Makes me wonder what the world would look like in newer versions.

Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on you. Fool me three times, hold up, rewind, That's not even possible.
Yeah it was a bit underwhelming, but I wasn't there for witch huts, I just wanted to fill a map for my room, and I wonder how many fossils are in this swamp, due to its impressive size!.
For a structure to be guaranteed in a biome it, and only it (no rivers, only that biome), must occupy the entire northwest 24x24 chunks of a 32x32 chunk region (corresponding to the gridlines on the map, which BTW isn't "Unmined", which renders an actual world, but ChunkBase's "biome finder" / "seed map"), which has exactly one attempt per region within this area (regardless of version, it is commonly claimed that structures, even of a given type, are more common in recent versions but even e.g. 1.6.4 has the same "spacing" and "separation" as modern does and I'd expect on average 2-3 of any given structure per maxed-out map that isn't ocean or ice plains based on how common their biomes are. It is true that villages are more common because they have more biomes to spawn in but I've seen seeds for modern which e.g. had no desert temple within 3000 blocks, or even none of a specific type of village).
Rivers do intersect the swamp at 2, almost 3 places and the hut isnt in the section of my little house, it is in the large middle section. That would explain it i suppose.

So as a sort of reference, here's what my current world shows for Witch huts according to chunk base in a given area. The problem with using the structure locator is it doesn't show the biome itself for most if not all structures.

Using the ignore feature here is kinda weird.

TheMasterCaver's First World - possibly the most caved-out world in Minecraft history - includes world download.
TheMasterCaver's World - my own version of Minecraft largely based on my views of how the game should have evolved since 1.6.4.
Why do I still play in 1.6.4?
