I fell on the void and was wondering if i activate the LAN and put the cheats i save myself and then close the LAN, do I still have the goals? Since i did a test in another world and it would seem to work, so i was wondering what are the drawbacks.
I don't think LAN affects achievements on Java. This would probably cause you an issue on bedrock (if it lets you do LAN< idek)
(Sorry for missing this topic earlier, I'm getting to the point where I think every new poster and topic is a spambot and I have to take the time to read thoroughly to decide).
The only drawback is whether it makes you feel guilty; while I use a "death point" mod myself, and have used it a few times (before this I'd almost always lose my stuff since it was in some random cave) it doesn't prevent loss of items in the void, lava, etc and Mojang even added a "recovery compass", making it an official feature (if not in the version I play in, which some would still object to).

TheMasterCaver's First World - possibly the most caved-out world in Minecraft history - includes world download.
TheMasterCaver's World - my own version of Minecraft largely based on my views of how the game should have evolved since 1.6.4.
Why do I still play in 1.6.4?
