It's a hole in the ground with a skylight and some item frames as labels. Not zero effort but not super impressive, I put about as much or less effort into my builds to be fair.
Replace the floors, walls, and ceilings with non-natural blocks. That's probably the simplest, fastest, and most effective improvement.
Some further things I might personally do...
Make it four or even five blocks tall from floor to ceiling. This will open it up. If you don't need much space, it's not necessary though so you'll spend time digging just to make it have more wasted space you won't need (I tend to not cram things together and prefer spacing it apart so it's preference).
Since the top layer looks to be one dirt block deep in spots, I'd want something more durable between me and the surface, and perhaps with more depth. If you have the glass one layer set into the ground, and one layer above the ceiling, with stairs along the edge (I hope I explained this well), it will result in two layers of ground and one layer of ceiling between you and the surface.
You could have logs as support beams running along the ceiling, with lanterns hanging from them.
And/or have recesses in the wall with lanterns in them, unless you want to use torches on the walls. If you go with that, I would also add logs as pillars inset into spots on the walls to put the torches on.
Oh, and this is absolutely the most important part. Spam leaves (for bushes of plants) and potted flowers in any empty spaces/corners. Like, I see there's an abundance of furnaces (why so many furnaces?) but a lack of foliage. Plants and flowers indoors and underground will help liven it up in there, especially with the sky light being there.
You should also consider surrounding the glass skylight with cobblestone wall or similar to keep creepers from exploding near it and breaking the glass when you're outside.
Fair enough! Functionality over aesthetics is totally valid. As long as it works for you, that’s what matters. Not every build needs to be a masterpiece!
I just wanted to show my base, I'm not good at building
