My friend and I were exploring our first ancient city and after clearing it we found a spider spawner in the center of the redstone room, rendering all redstone contraptions comepletely useless. The contraptions aren't very useful anyways, but thought it was quite funny so I wanted to share. I wonder what the chances of this happening are. While exploring the ancient city I noticed no mobs spawning and wondered how it would work if the mob spawner spawned somewhere in the open, instead of in the redstone room. That defenitely would have added another layer of difficulty. Has anything like this happened to you? Is anyone familiar with mob spawning in ancient cities?
