I was in my survival world at i put a zombie in a pen with my mending villager and the zombie straight up killed the villager. The world is on hard mode and mob griefing is turned on. Everyone says there is a 100% chance of them converting on hard but I have tried twice now and they have both died. Version is 1.18.2 btw.

This just happened to me too... Twice now, on hard mode with mob griefing on. Version 1.19.2
