So a few of the game's death messages include the phrase "whilst fighting <player>", for example "<player> was burned to a crisp whilst fighting <player>," and I was wondering what the cooldown was after a player was hit for this message to appear when they die.
Coz theoretically a player could hit another player, then that player could die a couple hours later, and the message would still say that they died during a battle. Idk, just wondering what the exact cooldown time is.
The source code should be checked, but according to the wiki [https://minecraft.fandom.com/wiki/Death_messages], for the example message you provided you have to be on fire while hit by your opponent, otherwise the message would not trigger and the generic “<player> burned to death” would be displayed instead.
