I was looking for a double slime chunk to dig out and make a slime farm for, because my single chunk slime farm wasn't cutting it and it was too slow. But now that I have a beacon I can instamine it out and put one there. While looking for a double slime chunk (there were tons of them) I got a bit ambitious and began my search for a quad slime chunk. I thought a quad slime chunk would be a good place to plant down a slime farm. I found one about 10,000 blocks from spawn but my server is trying to limit travel in the nether so we don't effect the 1.16 biome spawning too much (basically so we don't create preloaded chunks everywhere). Then I found this gem 5,000 blocks away from spawn, half the distance to the quad chunk (see picture below). Are there any designs for a sextuple chunk slime farm? Or can I combine a quad chunk and double chunk farm?

Ok, I found another sextuple slime chunk in my world and Its clustered together better than the other one. Though its 12k blocks away from spawn. I think I might use this one instead. I mean, there is a lot of chunks that aren't gonna be pre loaded before 1.16. I think this one will be considered an "Octuple slime chunk"

I've been working on a triple-chunk slime farm for about a month now. Word of advice: build your beacon at the bottom. Not having Haste 2 at the bottom will slow it down so much, and it's not helping that, even with instamine, it took almost three weeks for me to dig it out.
But I'm not even done with construction, and I'm already bordering on three stacks of slime blocks. So yes, I'd say six slime chunks would be very efficient.

Watch out for the crabocalypse. Some say the day will never come. But it will.

If you'd like to talk with me about other games, here are a few I play.
Team Fortress 2
Borderlands series (Borderlands 2 is my favorite game, ever. TPS combat is a lot of fun and makes up for the lower-quality story, in my opinion)
Elder Scrolls series
Warframe (IGN is something like That_One_Flesh_Atronach)
Pokémon series (HGSS forever)
Left 4 Dead 2 (Boomer files always corrupt though)
SUPERHOT (SUPERHOT is the most innovative shooter I've played in years!)
Dead Rising series (Dead Rising 2 is one of my favorite games, and the 3rd was a lot of fun. 1st has poor survivor AI and the 4th is bad)
Just Cause series
Come to think of it, I mainly play fighting-based games.
It generally does not matter. A single chunk farm, properly built, has more than enough spawning area to get number of slimes to mobcap. What truly determines efficiency is how spawnproofed is everything in 128-block radius and how quickly are spawned slimes disposed of.
