guess I want to o-pine on my Minecraft experience. I have 47 mods installed to get the experience I was looking for. (1.12.2 version) Using Bloodmoon at 100% every night, ModIA,
MonsterSwarm, zombieawareness and a few more AI mods I was able to get the monster behavior to a level where it's downright challenging. Add in more survival systems like ToughAsNails, HungerOverhaul. Then more monster types mowziesmobs, Mo-Creatures-Mod.Infernal-Mobs-Mod Found a seed that has lava lakes, 80 dungeons.Roguelike-Dungeons-Mod.
this makes it near impossible to explore at the beginning level. So we needed quality of life mods like
BetterDiving, Open-Glider-Mod and Grappling-Hook-Mod. these make the game playable by heightening the ability to get around. day and night cycles are just 8 mins ( cant be changed or moded). You have to hunker down in your base at night or you will die. so only having 8 mins to do survival collections, food, water, and mining can be an extreme challenge.
The monsters can destroy any block in two hits. so I needed to add traps mods. razor wire has been the only way to stop the destruction of my base each night. but even then they can get very smart. They will even build a bridge or nerd tower up to your base. covering the base in water didn't help. surrounding the base with lava slows the on-slot.
I have enjoyed my time playing this so far. but had to play solo and saving a lot by backing up my world file after each play. I guess I made 7 Days to die out of Minecraft and I am really happy with it. its replayability will last for years.
Anyway, that's it for now just wanted to share. I have Prison architecture and deliverance kingdom come BUT MC just keeps me coming back.
