LOL,1337 reply's. Currently making another mob grinder. This one will be spiders, seems to be working now, just need to find out how to make it in survival. P:
I finished the wall around my western base, making it 2w x 8h, and added a 4w ledge made of brich planks all around the top. I put down fences and torches on top of those all around it, on both inside and outside. Although that may seem to be a waste of torches, it looked better, plus there is a nearby ravine leading to a large mineshaft/cave complex. I have found plenty of ore and other things there, just about everything in the normal game, or added by IC2, RedPower2 mods. There's even access to the world's core dungeon which is part of the Better Dungeons mod. I used WorldEdit to drain the lava so I could reach it and explore the caves down there, which would otherwise be flooded with it.
I expanded the building where my tracks ended, then decided I did not enough space to put everything I wanted into it, so I dug out a 16w x 40l x 5h area. In it I put my enchantmnet table, 5 brewing stands, 5 cauldrons, all my chests (2 diamond, 16 gold, 1 iron from the Iron Chests mod), EE2 17/5 & 4/1 Mk III Solar Flowers, the latter for charging Klein Stars, 2 EE2 Red Matter furnaces, an Alchemical chest from the same mod, Railcraft Coke Ovens (3), a Rolling Machine from Railcraft, 4 Alloy Furnaces from RedPower2, a crafting table, and on the wall opposite the EE2 structures, my IC2 machines. I used the same ones as my southern base, plus the same power sources and storage devices.
The ground inside the wall I lit up with Jack 'O' Lanterns, and planted wheat, flax, pumpkins, melons and sugar cane. Underground, I made a tree farm, planting IC2 rubber trees and those of the other types except jungle trees and RedPower2 rubber trees. Making my base near a swamp was fortunate IC2 wise, as there were a lot of rubber trees around it. I got enough saplings to put 16 of them in the underground farm, and then plant another 16 on the surface next to the other farms there. That shortened the time it took to get enough sticky resin for the MV solar arrays. I went through a lot of treetaps harvesting it.
Lastly I built a portal, and spawned right on the edge of a 1 block thick ledge. On one side was solid Netherrack, on the other a plunge down into lava. And while I was looking over how close I came to having a bad spawn there, a Ghast began shooting at me. I ducked back into the portal as I had not brought either flint & steel nor fire charges with me. But the building with my original portal was visible around 150 blocks away. I wanted to build an enclosed walkway between the two portals, so I went back to the Overworld, made a piston operated cobblestone farm, then placed a few RedPower2 Block Breakers running to some pneumatic tubing into an Iron Chest. I ran them from a timer which I set as fast as I possibly could without causing the Block Breakers to get ahead of the pistons. Once both portals were enclosed, I added some glowstones inside the walkway, and transmuted all the cobble to Nether Bricks.
Finished constructing a large rail system. Makes it much easier to get back to the abandoned Mineshafts I have found and easier to stock up on the diamonds and iron I missed.
Also entered the Nether, but quickly died to a Ghast. Those things are horrifying. :/

And they seem to enjoy being close enough where you can here them, but not see them. Those things make the oddest sounds in game.
Journeyed past the end of my South Road, trying to decide if it is worth extending the path yet further south. That turned into an exploratory expedition, with me hoping to find previously ungenerated lands. That didn't happen.
I did come upon one of those wretched generation seem mismatches with its abrupt sheer landscape transitions. Spent a number of Minecraft days and nights altering what I could to make the scenery blend more naturally. (All done legitimately.) Got a bit lost on my way home, but not seriously so. Nothing I couldn't correct with a glimpse at the compass. Ended my session slaughter cows for their meat and hides at Cattleman's Folly.
Started new world found desert temple. I decided to make it my base. So I used McEdit to move it xD it was like half on desert and half on snow boime anyways. I dont think thats much of and advantge anyway. Adding a couple rooms and building the hill underneth it so it doesnt look like its floating in mid-air.
Branch mined at my newish digging site. Found enough diamonds to make the trip worthwhile. From there I went on another grand exploratory expedition, traveling to heretofore unvisited lands. I'm in the midst of that now, holed up of the night in a tiny self-dug cave high up a mountainside I chanced to be near come dusk. I've still not found another village, or my first jungle temple, but hope to by journey's end.
currently working on the "Mines of Moria". On top is a large Palisade and underneath are 9 pillars that extend from 66 down to 14. The area of the pit is 19x19 blocks. This took a very long time to dig out, was tons of fun and has been a work in progress. At the 14y we are building a series of mine shafts 3 deep to a 3x3x3 cut out and have been able to fin 50+ diamonds from this mine since getting down below 16. I will attach two screen shots, one looking up from the bottom of the pit and the other is above the pit looking at the Palisade. Enjoy
Wow. Well I'm sorta new to minecraft. I have been on peaceful cause I'm sorta training myself. Ya know? Anyway I've found like 7 diamonds, a abandoned mine and went to the nether. I've also found a ton of gold and redstone. I'm thinking of switching to easy maybe today cause it gets pretty boring the most action I got in peaceful was accidentally fell in some lava but other then that nothing.
I built a Chicken Cooker, Its called the C.C. stands for Chicken Cooker 4000! Its pretty neat, I did a video on it feel free to take a look!
There is a derpy opening, so just ignore that part!

The days when I was on peaceful, those were some good times! Enjoy it, I miss the time when everything in Minecraft was new, and scared me half to death. Its a enjoyable time of Minecraft!

Visited my new branch mines. Unearthed 17 or 18 diamonds, amongst other things.
Modified Cattleman's Folly. I'm now less displeased with it.
Contemplated when to place cocoa been farm. Came to no conclusion.
I wonder who dis could be ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Minecraft [Alpha] 1.7.3 had blocks that you can use to build with.
Minecraft now has blocks that you can use to build with.
Nothing has changed in my opinion." That is all.
