I can't seem to get my screenshots working (anyone know where Tekkit stores screenies?) But my mother and I are working on a gothic mansion in the style of Margam Castle complete with gardens. The building is approx 100x50, and the gardens the same size.

Your mom plays minecraft?! My mom probably couldn't figure out how to move..
I just made a treehouse, but I don't think it turned out that great I'm not very good at making them xD
I disagree, I think that you're quite good at them, at least based on those screenshots.
Someone who REALLY sucks is me. All I ever seem to do is make 8x8x3 boxes in trees... and they usually
just get struck by lightning very soon afterwards anyways...
I've decided to stick with my World#2 that I've had since Alpha, and my home embedded into a mountain. I'm currently on a re-generation scheme, and am always getting ideas to improve things. Lately I started the great dinning room upgrade, raising the ceiling up by two blocks and eventually completely redecorating:
As it was:
Currently:
When I made this area last year I had a very "commercial" looking dinning room like you'd see in the public or by the side of a motorway. I realized recently that I want it to be a more homely "Great dinning room" like in a posh mansion. The only problem with this is, just above the new ceiling is the side of the mountain with all my gravel paths which got dug into by creating a new higher snow block ceiling. I fixed this by adding another layer of dirt over the snow blocks to cover/hide it. Gave me a chance to re-do my paths though, even though it capped off another way up to that area from the tennis court. I solved this however by changing the back entrance to the dinning room from a narrow ledge/long stairs down and one width narrow corridor outside to a new patio area:
As it was:
Currently:
Stairs now go in the opposite direction and are double width.
Will have tables, seating and planters added.
I've still got the new science lab to finish (It an old former cave underground behind my storage area), the previous one has been sealed off. I've the library to redecorate, dinning room and patio to finish, re-design the tavern, and extanding the front room with a reception room. (The area being a former mushroom farm that was cleared out. I found it lied behind the back wall of said front room , so I'm going to "knock through".) So lots to do!

I genned about 50 worlds looking for an interesting one to start fresh in, since my old one was well explored. I finally got one which I started exactly two blocks from a ravine, and near enough to a desert. Since then, I've planted a forest for wood, started a farm, and found another ravine deeper underground that is connected to my base one by a natural tunnel. I also built a fountain out of sandstone, realized I hated the new gravel texture, and dug out my paths and paved them in sandstone.
Created a new world and spawned in a frozen forest landscape (bah!). Trying to find a more "normal" landscape with a few mountains, I stumble across a ravine. Instead of continuing my search of a more desireable location to settle down, I decide to take a quick look and see what I could find down there. Many days later I have created myself a maze, in which I have gotten lost on several occasions, after going deeper and deeper into caves intersecting abandoned mines intersecting caves intersecting dungeons intersecting more caves (and it even took me to a deep-underground ravine I have yet to even explore the slightest - I fear it will be as massive as what I have found already), stripping the walls as I come across "valuables" (have tons of iron and redstone). Seeing how normal stone blocks seems to turn into mineral blocks, I am now in the process of unearthing as much stone as possible (digging away all and any dirt and gravel I come across down there... there is so much...).
Among the many updats, one is writing in books.. so I'm trying to figure out a way to create an adventure map and implement the books into it. Maybe a treasure hunt or something?

And I did a pixel art of derpy
I haven't played survival in a while, at least, not in single-player.
This is a world I'm gonna remain dedicated to for a while.
EDIT: Jumped underground. Saw an abandoned Mineshaft
(I added more melon plants later)
