One day I was lagging really badly and kicked out of the game etc . I was on top of a tree and I spawned back inside leafblocks, I broke the ones above me and saw this:
A skeleton riding on an invisible spider, halfway up a wall - so it looked like it was flying - and also using a bow with the flame enchantment to mess me up. I hadn't played on hard mode very much at that time, so that particular combination made it seem very much like a special miniboss fight. I'm fairly certain it was in one of the 1.6 snapshots.
Also, a charged creeper dancing on the railing of the third-story porch around my favorite little 'ranger tower' themed house. I have no idea how it could even have gotten up there, but it was very unsettling.
Went thru a Nether Portal today coming out on the edge of a Jungle biome - where there were three pink sheep in view, and found a fourth one about 80-100 blocks away ...
The strangest and funniest things I've seen was all my fault. i tried to import my tamed ocelots from one world into another with MCedit because I can't seem to find any ocelots in that world. Anyhow, they imported, but reverted back to being "wild" even though they kept their tamed cat textures.
But what was so funny was before I exported them, I had them all sitting in one place to make it easier to export them. When they were imported, they all remained in the seated position, but were running away from me. So it looked like a 12 dozen cats and kittens scooting their behind on the ground as they fled from me and into the forest
So now in my world have these scooting feral forest cats, which I suppose will despawn eventually, being no longer tamed.
when i was in the Mesa, it started snowing and there was snow on the hills.. wth, that's nothing like real life. next thing, it's going to snow in deserts.. weird world generation glitch, i guess. Not all that strange, but odd.
Actually a lot of desert and mesa areas in real life do get snow, sometimes a lot of snow.
In my 6th world,i spawned on a very small island. with 2 trees and a very small part of beach on the other side...i have never been laughed so hard after that world because its hard to believe that the game would generate you a stranded island that people make and put on the Internet to challenge others, seems oddly random.

Another odd water block (my Nether Portal spawned in the area below this so don't know if that had something to do with it)
And a little double dungeon I found nearby which had merged into each other, with three chests and a block of cobblestone where the other spawner would have been (I placed the Jack-O-Lantern )
This thread is basically about the strangest thing you've seen about minecraft, I'll start off with my discovery:
A baby zombie pigman riding a chicken in the nether!? I guess logic was just tossed out the window. (this was not spawned in either, and it was on a minecraft realms server)
That's a Minecraft glitch. Chicken jockeys spawn, and then the baby zombie despawns, but the chicken stays. It lays eggs which zombies pick up, and when zombies are holding an item they can't despawn. (I'm pretty sure) Result: Huge pit of zombies holding eggs.
Its not a glitch. zombies are supposed to pick up items and hostile mobs are supposed to despawn and chickens are supposed to lay eggs.
A creeper spawner spawning pigs ?? it was really weird and in that same world i saw a creeper riding a zombue and i didnt have a texture pack or mods installed
BS! No such thing as a creeper spawner in vanilla survival.
I forgot to take a screenshot of it, but when I was playing my modded survival, a whole bunch of Thaumcraft zombies spawned under trees around my hovel, and when I went out in the morning, they all tried to swarm me but burned in the daylight. I got a stack and a half of zombie brains.
The strangest thing I have ever seen in Minecraft? I was playing a multiplayer server, and I was the only one on. At least, I thought I was. I pressed Tab, and lo and behold, this happened:
Its not a glitch. zombies are supposed to pick up items and hostile mobs are supposed to despawn and chickens are supposed to lay eggs.
I know, but it's causing a ton of lag in Minecraft. I think Mojang should make the chickens that have baby zombies riding them despawn along with the baby zombie.
Lol.
Mine is a desert temple in the middle of a jungle. No pics sry. Apparently this is an incredibly rare glitch.
GENERATION 20: The first time you see this, copy it into your sig and add 1 to the generation
Destroy the creepers.
I used to have a good signature, but it got nerfed.
In singleplayer?!?!?!
Also, a charged creeper dancing on the railing of the third-story porch around my favorite little 'ranger tower' themed house. I have no idea how it could even have gotten up there, but it was very unsettling.
Mintutor now works in 1.13!
MrKite & Mc_Etlam ... I salute you!
TheMasterCaver's First World - possibly the most caved-out world in Minecraft history - includes world download.
TheMasterCaver's World - my own version of Minecraft largely based on my views of how the game should have evolved since 1.6.4.
Why do I still play in 1.6.4?

Formerly known as ORabbit around these parts.

You can just call me Canary.
How not to look like a total fool in the forum games
The EULA "changes" will not end minecraft servers.
Still have no idea what happened there.
Watch out for the crabocalypse. Some say the day will never come. But it will.
Feel free to drop by for a chat whenever.
If you'd like to talk with me about other games, here are a few I play.
Team Fortress 2
Borderlands series (Borderlands 2 is my favorite game, ever. TPS combat is a lot of fun and makes up for the lower-quality story, in my opinion)
Elder Scrolls series
Warframe (IGN is something like That_One_Flesh_Atronach)
Pokémon series (HGSS forever)
Rocket League
Fallout series
Left 4 Dead 2 (Boomer files always corrupt though)
SUPERHOT (SUPERHOT is the most innovative shooter I've played in years!)
Dead Rising series (Dead Rising 2 is one of my favorite games, and the 3rd was a lot of fun. 1st has poor survivor AI and the 4th is bad)
Just Cause series
Come to think of it, I mainly play fighting-based games.
I can't remember the last time a saw a desert village all in a desert, they are always half in a plains.
Anyway, the weirdest thing I have seen was a built a house on a survival world, got bored of the world and deleted it.
I then made a hardcore world with the same seed as the latter world then walked to where my old house would of been and half of it was actually there!
That glitch is the weirdest thing that has ever happened to me in MC.
