Thanks to Steelfeathers for starting this challenge .. I've had a lot of fun with it so far. I'm happy to say that I just finished the Wooden Age and I hope I never see another wooden tool again. Nothing fancy but it got the job done.
Xinkc - That's just mind boggling!
Calderhs - Nice work! I like your wall especially.
House, wall, wheat (along the inside of wall towards the back, cows. Gate not shown but it's there.
Inside house - living room. Storage and bedroom beyond. Spawn point is the grassy green square.
Your little courtyard is cute =) Looks like you're going to have a lot of terraforming to do if you want to keep it all flat!
Thanks Teeshy! Yes, I was thinking I could make it work, but now I'm not so sure. I love it just as it is though so if even if I abandon the challenge it was still well worth doing.

Argh! Getting frustrated while mining out to get enough stone to finish my walls (which I've been working on since I finished the wooden age, haven't had *heaps* of time to play) finding all this redstone and DIAMONDS and can't mine them out cos I can't use iron tools yet =P And I really want to make redstone lamps as soon as I have iron tools, 'cos my walls don't look right with a torch sitting in an empty block where the redstone lamp should be - so I might "cheat" a little on the iron age and make my portal to the nether, and use some redstone, just 'cos I want things to look *pretty* =P
Then again, I might not, I'm enjoying the challenge and enjoying the restrictions in a weird way - the only things I want different is my redstone lamps =P
Wel i took this challenge, incredibly addicting! Just finished my wooden age, managed to find 2 iron buckets in dungeons. Ive decided to go for a minecraft circle 101 diamater, not a popular choice but i hope i can pull it off.
Humble Starts
The Requirments, the logs arnt all the same type but the rules said a stack of logs never said it had to be one type
Spent most the 2 weeks clearing land filling in the giant holes in my circle and creating my wall, the keep is lacking now i layed an outline for a stone one and this one met the requirements for now, a simple humble home. Realized i took the pics inside my house after i had started the stone age sorry
Hope you enjoyed it, Any suggestions are welcomed also not sure why some of my pics arn't working any ideas?
I will do it, shut up.

Absolutely. If you want to make a private server and play with friends, more power to you, although be sure to back up the world quite often.
