If you left any "open" spots during construction, empty areas that became ensconced within your house, you might want to check those and light them up.
Spawner under you house.
Solution?
Destroy the spawner; or
Move to another place
Yet again, I've found a stupid idea. Why would anyone destroy a Spawner? The bare minimum you need to disable a Sawner is 2 Torches. You may still want to utilize that Spawner as an Experience farm, drop farm or a Zombie Villager purifier.
Moving to another place isn't even a good option. If you already built a house, you wouldn't want to just leave it just because you hear mobs.
What you have to do is find any spots in your house that may be able to spawn mobs (such as a small pocket air that has no light). Also, there could be a cave/Abandoned Mineshaft/Dungeon under your house. Dig down, if the mob sounds are getting louder, then you're sure there's a cave. Just follow the sounds (move left and right, listen if the sound get louder or quieter).
If it's a spider, you may have a crawl-space between floors unlit.
That happened in on of my houses. I happened to have a 1-block gap between floors in one room (the room downstairs intentionally had a low ceiling and created a gap under the 2nd story floor boards). I kept hearing a spider and it was driving me nuts. I went so nuts I started chopping down my house looking for the thing, and sure enough I found it! Two of them in fact!
Oh, and that reminds me. Spiders get stuck on awnings and rooftop corners and overhangs and windows all the time, and they don't burn up in the daylight so they might persist for a long time if you don't move around a lot. Spiders are the WORST for taunting you with their loud noises from a hidden location.
I had the same thing, then I checked under my house I had built because I had mined and closed off, forgot to light a small area and found zombies spawned in there. Try going under you house of nothing around above ground.
I'd guess that they are in a cave under your house or on the roof.
In my hardcore save I was too scared at the time to really check it out because I didn't explore caves but there was either a zombie spawner or just a cave full of mobs under my wheat field. I checked enough to see a cave but a skeleton shot at me so I just closed it up and ignored it. Another time even though I had a ledge around my house so spiders couldn't climb up I hadn't lit the roof up and one spawned on my roof.
It could also be in any small closed off area you may have made when making your house.

They give a good amount of XP by themselves, 3-9 mobs worth (used, along with XP from mining and regular mobs, to repair items on-the-fly as I play), and I come across so many due to how I play (I've mined a full double chest of moss stone from dungeons) that there is no point in keeping them otherwise, plus I don't need an XP farm (my method of getting XP for enchanting is to mine quartz in the Nether, which the Wiki even says is faster than basic (spawner-based?) mob farms, getting to level 30 in 10-15 minutes; the downside of being nonrenewable is offset by simply repairing items afterwards). Never mind cave spider spawners, which I doubt many people would want to bother with anyway, although it is possible to find many of them near each other.
Also, I imagine that a proper mob farm would be much preferred, seeing that spawners can wait as long as 40 seconds to spawn more mobs, although needs more work to build.
I don't bother to destroy spawners any more but I used to. It doesn't matter because I mostly play on peaceful and I recently found zombie, spider, and skeleton spawners close to my spawn so they are available if I want to use them.

Go 200 blocks away, and then come back.
But the mobs trapped in some dark space under/near your house will probably reappear at some point.

TheMasterCaver's First World - possibly the most caved-out world in Minecraft history - includes world download.
TheMasterCaver's World - my own version of Minecraft largely based on my views of how the game should have evolved since 1.6.4.
Why do I still play in 1.6.4?
