I used to cry everytime my brother killed a animal. I starved alot. So did he.
Along time ago when I first showed my friend MC [i was new too] we found 3 iron and were fweakin out. Then she deleted the world cause she didnt want to have it with "other people" [villagers] in it.
So I really never was much of a noob mainly because when I first heard of it back in 2011, I didn't buy the game immediately but instead watched YouTubers play the game instead: The Yogs, CaptainSparklez, AntVenom, ChimneySwift,... Those were the days.
Anyway when I finally did buy the game it was already 1.0.0. So when I went to a survival server my friend set up I spawned in the middle of the woods far from the house the owner lived in, or anything else really.
And when I tried to get to the house I kept dying because I was newly spawned and there was no path whatsoever. And so he decided to build a minecart to get to the base. I couldn't right click the minecart for no reason at all. And then I kept dying from getting on the minecart.
Eventually, me and my wooden tools ended up on a random wooden building that someone built and blocked every hole in it. But I didn't get any food. And when I tried to get out and punch some trees and get food I kept dying. And I had no bed so I kept trying to get my stuff back. I then left the server.
EDIT: I remember another time when I was playing Survival on a singleplayer world. At that time I thought you got seeds from using a hoe on grass (because I was still watching pre-beta 1.6 videos at that point, despite it being 1.0.0) and so only managed to get a (really small) farm after getting iron armor because I luckily had punched grass and got seeds from that, and I often went hungry because animals weren't spawning and I was terrible at hitting mobs (stupid lag), so I kept dying to them. Also I thought iron was really rare because I was mining a huge cave and barely getting some ore.
When I finally decided to explore (I was a huge coward back then), I fell into a ravine and died, losing all of my iron stuff. When I tried to get my items I lost my way back home (not even really a home, as the only outdoors part was a brick path to the small farm and everything else was in a mine) and I had to build a small hovel in the rain, at night, not going out until a long time later, where I finally found my house.

Oh boy do I have one! I downloaded Minecraft back in 1.5 (or 1.6, can't quite remember). I only played in creative and never tried survival (was to scared). On my first actual world that was not a flatland world were I punched villagers all day; I decided to build a house inside of a mountain. Because EVERYONE knows that those are the easiest to build, so I grabbed my oak wood and got to work. Then suddenly I pressed space 2 times instead of one and I started flying as you would expect. At the time I knew there was a fly mechanic, but I never knew how to use it. I HAD NO IDEA HOW TO GET DOWN. In desperation I went on the wiki, it said to double tap space to stop flying, but for some reason I didn't do it correctly. Thus I continued to push space sending me higher and higher until I couldn't see the ground.
Then I gave up and deleted the world I had spent hours and hours on because I didn't know how to use the space bar correctly...

Here a second one because I was the bottom of the barrel in nooby-ness...
My first survival world...
I had found the perfect place, it was on a peninsula where mobs could only attack me from one direction. I got ready. I crafted a wooden sword and I planted my 4x1 wheat farm. It was almost night. I had found some coal and I made torches. I placed them all around my starter base. I placed them all around, making sure that my whole base was lit up leaving no dark spots. I THOUGHT TORCHES CREATED SOME SORT OF FORCE FIELD THAT DIDN'T ALLOW MOBS TO ENTER TO ATTACK YOU!
And with that epic noob torch fail I waited all night to see just one horrific zombie, skeleton, enderman, spider, or creeper, my heart beating the whole time in fear (lol, the noob days when you got scared of mobs). But nothing was spawning! I was so confused. I DIDN'T REALIZE WHAT PEACEFUL MEANT!
Lel, I hope you all enjoyed Wraith's tale of nooby-ness.
My oldest undeleted world is called "Try3". I started playing MC just before 1.5.1 upgraded to 1.5.2. "Try1" was a snow-covered taiga; I understood from watching one video on "Day 1" that I should find some sheep and kill them to make a bed. Well, I saw some white animals, ran up to them and punched one of them...
They were wolves. Everytime I respawned, they killed me again. I deleted that world.
"Try2", I spawned into a blizzard in some snowy biome. After not being able to see much of anything because of the blizzard, except some pumpkins I tripped over, I quit and deleted that world in disgust.
"Try3", I spawned in a taiga again, but there were Extreme Hills and a river right nearby, and a really spectacular half-flying mountain, so I moved into that mountain to build my very first base. Somewhere along the line I started adding mods, and I eventually successfully ported the world to 1.6.4. I still have it, and sometimes go back to build something there.
I first got Minecraft PE when it came out, played it for longest time til my 360/xbox one. I remember not knowing what to do. I couldn't even build a shelter, I died 7 somethin times before I dug a hole. A while later I remember finding diamonds and not knowing what they were. I did not know what any of the ores were. I was a pretty big noob.
Well i played minecraft in beta and i really wasn't a noob but what did happen is well... erm i actually dont know (dont judge i was like 6 when i play minecraft alpha/beta) but what i can remember is i had a texture pack that changed some blocks to errors and yeah i died by a creeper from it cause i couldn't see through the glass
I once built an inadequately contained fireplace in a wooden house. You can guess what happened next.
Some other dumb moments in my Minecraft experience:
My first "house" in Minecraft was a miserable shelter carved out of a hill near a beach. It had holes in the roof for light, because I didn't have any torches. And I honestly wondered how the zombies were getting in every night. *facepalm*
I was afraid of fighting hostile mobs for the longest time, because they were "so scary." Now I charge at a skeleton and smash it to bits with an iron sword and I don't bat an eye. My, how times have changed.
In my noob days of 2011, I thought that digging straight down was a great way to find new cavern systems. (Oh, Taigona, what were you thinking?!) Miraculously, I never fell into a lava pit while doing this, but I did sustain quite a bit of fall damage whenever I did chance upon a new cavern. Of course, this was back before giant ravines generated underground, so I didn't really need to worry about falling to my death, but it was still a stupid idea.
When I was less of a noob, sometime in late 2012, I generated a new survival world. Same old, same old. I spawned in a jungle and started exploring to collect resources, when I spotted a giant square hole in the ground. Curious, I approached, assuming it was one of those times when a chunk doesn't load, resulting in a big blank spot on the map. Turns out, the entire chunk was physically missing, so it was a perfect 16x16 sqaure hole down to bedrock. It had adjacent water and lava springs flowing into it and everything. I didn't stop soon enough as I was walking towards it, and the next thing I knew, I was free-falling to the bottom. SPLAT! Death on impact, of course. I was so angry I rage-quit and deleted that world, starting a new and different world instead.

Insulting people for their beliefs is not a good way of convincing them to adopt yours.
Fiction is just a game of make-believe recorded on paper or film. But that's what makes it so great.
my noob experience was that I didn't know the controls besides knowing how to walk so when I feel into a pond I did not know how to break any blocks I was stuck for about half an hour to an hour on that before realizing it was left click ._.
Ahh, good old newbie days. When Zombies made your heart race.
The good times of using that dumb dumb dumb golden pick (and calling it a butter pickaxe) to mine those dratted diamonds.
Going into Creative mode just to make a 4x4 End Portal... outside in the daylight.
And believing that Creepers didn't cause damage on easy difficulty. How naive...
Creating a giant pool of lava, capping it with netherrack, and yelling "Behold the Nether!!"
Oh yeah, and doing the dumbest trolls that aren't even funny or tricky.
Spending thirty minutes trying to make a book because I didn't have internet in my house.(MC: Survival Mode, Part 8)
When the funnest thing was sending a TNT Minecart into a village.
"Like" if you sympathize...

Idk what to put here but I like making faces like this one. =]
First 30mins i was tapping the hitbutton trying to break wood XD
I guess the middle. I am sorry I got too carried away with my story.
I just took the Minecraft Noob test! Check out what I scored. Think you can beat me?!

Installing game, pirated(I didn't even knew that there was pirated and non pirated games..:D), making flat world and being mad at game..
Why u might ask..?
Because i thought that Minecraft was $#ity and that it was a bug..
Then my friend came and called me noob..He was mad at Minecraft because he tried to move with arrows xDDD
Vanilla Minecraft = noob story.
When I first started my survival world I didn't light up my house well enough and monsters spawned in it
Minecraft player since '12
Luckily, I watched my brother play Minecraft before I started playing the game myself, so I never had to learn the creeper lesson firsthand.
