I learned mostly a lot about Minecraft on my own... Thus I didn't know that you had to hold down to break things. I had to sit there and constantly click on an oak tree to bring it down, not realizing that you have to hold it down for it to work. xD

Well I don't know how to insert image sources, so looks like this is just a boring old signature...
Roughly 95% of Minecraft players hate Villagers and would be very
happy if they were removed. If you are one of the 5% who actually like
villagers, copy this into your signature.-RainbowGirl
I'm definitely not a noob anymore but I did just make a huge noob mistake leading by me to rage quit and come here. I'm in the nether farming glow stone and quartz I've gathered about 6 stacks of Quartz and 4 stacks of glow stone dust, just as I'm saying to myself " this is a good haul don't get greedy head back now!!! " I see one more deposit of Quartz in a sketchy spot I set up ladders to it start mining ghast of course shoots me off my ladder into lava losing not only all my loot but a full set of fire resistant iron armor two diamond swords and atleast 4 iron picks. Epic fail

First house that I built ever took about six hours to complete. However, my friends were watching so I was okay. I only used one seed, and that was because it had a ton of resources.
i looked up redstone after i gathered some of the dust and wondered how i was suppose to use it then looked up crafting and found a recipe for a dispenser(which i thought duped stuff lol)and then started putting redstone dust all over yelling y u no work? then i found a recipe for a redstone repeater (which i thought repeated signals really fast lol) then placed it next to the dispenser and got mad that it didn't work. so after a while i found out you could make redstone torches then placed it down thinking to myself this has to be a better light than torches lol then nerd raged and started placing redstone torches all over and accidentally placed it next to the dispenser which launched a item then i was like
Thats not the right way to use me gusta... *FACEPALM*
I was in a multiplayer and had just logged in and the other player had cheats and made a beacon so i went to the bacon hoping for shelter and there were lots of mobs and it was raining then iwas swarmed he set me to creative so i could take a screenshot.
When I downloaded the demo I had absolutely no idea what the point of the game was, how to craft, etc. I had the most limited knowledge from my friend, who showed me his secret sciencey lair and his zombie grinder, but that was several years before I actually downloaded the demo. So I ran around for the first day punching pigs, grass, and dirt. When night descended and the mobs started spawning, I thought they were passive until a giant horde of monsters starting chasing and attacking. I spent the rest of the night in a little dirt hole on a little island. Next day I punched down some trees and just used the logs at random to build myself a wall on my island to defend myself. All the while I didn't know about hunger and every time I accidentally ate a raw porkchop I was like "haha wow this is a weird feature." I did this and similar stuff just on the demo for a month or so before finally purchasing the actual game. In preparation I watched paulsoarsjr's Survive and Thrive series so I'd actually know what to do. I still have my first world and, well... The image speaks for itself, I think. I was SO proud of this, too!
when i started playing is when i was watching the Yogscasts survival island series so i already knew a bit about the game but that didn't stop me from trusting a chicken to not let a creeper in my home while i was in my mine and you can guess what happened from there.

I actually was never a noob. I watched a minimum of 10+ hours of Minecraft before buying it. I didn't know how redstone worked and had to check for recipes often though

If I helped you, click this magical green button ! Gives me power!
Freaking out and slamming my laptop shut when a gigantic spider with red eyes was following and attacking me, even when I swam into water to get away. It was freaking scary as hell.
(I was just a little kid, and mc was the first "real" (Not mobile or flash) game i ever played lmao)

New account lol. Forgot the password to my previous one.
I kept clicking to destroy blocks when I should've just held the button down.
I did the exact same thing. I even went to the effort of creating a new world, thinking that it was some kind of glitch or bug. It wasn't until I consoled Google that I found the error of my way.
I was playing in minecraft one the xbox and i saw a villager with a green robe and i thought it was a witch. So i kill it, lets just say, that i made an iron golem very mad.and i didnt know how to sprint and well, you know what happened next.

I thought "Oh cool! A lava lake!' So I built a house right next to it. It was out of wood. I was like "NUUUU! ALL MY STUFF!!!!"
Another time I thought lapis was useful; it was 1.6.4... xD

I bought minecraft a few months before 1.6. I'd known a bit of minecraft from my friend but I was pretty noob.
I went into the world, punched wood and randomly made a crafting table. After that I knew nothing, everything else I had to google up.

I'll just sleep here for the night, then destroy my bed so I can keep exploring.
Oops, I died. Nevermind, I'll just respawn at where I slept last.
*Respawns*
Where am I? Oh yeah, I broke that bed.
