Giant evil worms.
They would dig in the ground and carve underground tunnels.
It would be common to see them carving tunnels underground, and if you were above them, they could burst out of the sand/dirt/whatever block causing a huge hole.
Also, they have razor sharp teeth they would chew you up with when they erupted from under you.

UMG BOB IT R A DRAGUN I NEVER SEEN WUN IN MAH WHOAL LIEF KLICK IT BOB BEFORE IT DIEZ!111shift!!!111!DERP
How about these addons: Bird - In grasslands/Forests.. just a regular chicken-sized bird flying about chirping peacefully. They could be few and far between and rare to see but if killed drop 16 feathers They could land I guess in trees and maybe replace a leaf block with a
"Nest" (super rare) block that can be harvested only like the dragon egg (if hit it teleports) The only use is you can use the nest in your crafting interface to obtain a
"Bird Egg" Maybe the birdegg can be used to spawn a "Baby Bird" that eventally grows up to be a
"Tamed Bird" that follows you around and "eats" grass like the current sheep mob does but when the bird "eats" the grass it flys to you and runs into you and drops a
"Worm" in your inventory which if you have it in your inventory while fishing you have a chance of catching a
"Trout" which can heal double what regular fish heal now?
Tucan - Same as the bird but with a bigger and colorful beak. Same concept as regular bird. Shows up more frequently (strictly in the jungle)
Buffalo - In the grass plains. Can be killed for 1-2 buffalo hide and 1-3 buffalo meat that heals the same amount of hunger as steak. The hide can be used with sticks to make a
"TeePee" which can be an alternative to a bed. It keeps you 100% safe while sleeping and takes up the same amount of blocks as a bed. Only differnce is it can be placed in the wide open and mobs will not attack you as you remain safe inside the teepee.
Biomes I'd like to see: Arctic - just like snow biome but underneath the snow is 2-5 layers of ice (same as dirt in plains) and then you hit cobblestone. There would be no trees in the arctic, and it could snow very frequently for more realism. Maybe very few mobs spawning to make it dangerous. (also realistic) Would be cool for these to appear only as often as the mooshroom islands, and contain maybe just 1
arctic fox a mob that can be lured/tamed with a raw fish. But breeding them would be very very rare because you'd have to find 2 arctic biomes as if you had to find 2 mooshroom islands.
Savanna/Prarie - Long plains of tall dead grass (maybe looks similar to wheat in the default texture pack) tall savanna-like trees spread few and far between that give a fifth new plank and wood texture. Maybe a hostile Lion mob that spawn solely in the Savanna biome.
Freshwater Marsh - Along with that Alligator suggestion I saw someone post a little above me
Coral Reef - Appear as frequently as clay does in rivers (but only appears in ocean biomes at least 15-20 water blocks deep. And maybe a 3 - 5 block radius around the reef where little fish can be swimming in circles, and other sea critters maybe? (Of course this should allow for a "Reef Fish On/Off" toggle option in the pause menu. Maybe somewhere near the "Clouds on/off" option to prevent lag?)
Mobs I'd like to see: Any kind of hostile mob in the ocean to encourage the use of boats as I feel the ocean biome is too safe as is. Everyone seems to go with the shark, but I'd rather see a Whale. Maybe half the size of the ender dragon and maybe appears only as often as wolves. They could travel in packs of 2-4 and swarm players on sight. (The same as ender dragons)
I'd probably make more biomes in the nether, like maybe an enormous volcano made of a special type of block that looks a bit like wood, only molten, and the top of it glows orange. The block fill be called magma, and volcanoes will be 3x less common than nether fortresses, and the ground of the volcanoes will be a new type of block that looks like an orange leaf block, only its not mineable. That would be cool. Also, silk touch should mine ender crystals, monster spawners (when placed spawns pigs, like in multiplayer), and most importantly, end portal frames. But block 97 shouldn't be mineable. That would kick @$$!
The Meaning of Life, the Universe, and Everything.
I would add underground cities populated with dwarfs, who you can trade with. The cities would be maybe 300 by 300 blocks long and 50 to 70 blocks high. The dwarfs would be somewere betwoon human and skeleton intelegence, and they activly mine and fight mobs. You get down to the cities (which are located near bedrock) through 3 wide tunnels with stairs or in abandoned mine shafts. The cities are, obviously, fairly rare. I know that this isn't exactly a biome, but I still want it in the game. I also want a mob for fast transport (horse?)
that is fully controlable and is tamable with 2-8 wheat. Also, I want to see giant crabs (one quarter as big as an ender dragon, passive untill attacked, found in groups of 1-6, and drops crab shell for armor and crab meat which heals 4 "meatpops" when cooked and only gives hunger when eaten raw) as whell as whales, which are more or less the same as crabs, but half as big an an ender dragon. Finally, dragons. Any colour, but less deadly as an ender dragon. They breathe fire or lightining, and are tamable with 64 raw pork/beef or 32 porkchops/steak. And they would be mountable. Tad better than a wolf or cat, in my humble(ish) opinion.
Here's my list of mobs and biome's I'd add if I had a onth with Mojang.
Natural Mobs (hostile/not hostile):
Bears (hostile, but can be tamed and bred)
Coyotes/Wild Dogs (hostile packs, maybe they attack if you have a pen built, can jump over a single fence like a spider)
Pygmys (hostile, half the height of player)
Dogs (we have cats)
Dolphins (could be tamed with fish, can attack sharks)
Alligators (hostile, for the swamps)
Mini-boss (in the stronghold portal rooms)
Ghosts (not big giant ghasts)
Skeletons (armed with other weapons)
Female Zombies (even male zombies are lonely)
Ostrich (fast but maybe checks the weight of your inventory, if it's too much, it's slowed)
Donkey (medium speed but can carry any load, maybe attachable to a minecart to pull it, maybe add a saddle with small inventory)
Camel (medium speed, upon killing it, it creates a small pool of water and meat)
Horse (fast, no weight limit, rare)
Pygmy Village (hostile, can raid it, not really a biome though)
Extreme Forest (redwood trees atleast 3x3 or 4x4 blocks thick and extremely tall)
Canyon (wide expanse at the bottom with a river or stream through it)
Volcano (magma streams, some sort or rock harder than cobblestone, softer than obsidian)
Extreme Mountains (snow-top peaks, explorable caves within the mountain, not underground at its base)
Abandoned Village (could be populated with zombies and skeletons, not really a biome)
Other than ender dragons being stupid and killing you no matter what(and it being ****ing impossible to find the end!), I would like a somewhat easier boss fight. A Dwarf army. There could be underground ruins (rare) and if you find it and drop 1 diamond in the altar....
A Dwarf army would appear! They would come from all sides and would be about 3/4 the size of the player. Most of them would look somewhat like honeydew, depending on what kind they are.....
Fighter: A Dwarf that look like honeydew but and has a (diamond or iron, depending on there level) sword in there hand and another printed on there back. They also have iron armor
Miner: They usually lead the pack and look exactly like honeydew. the hold a (again, diamond or iron depending on there level) pickaxe and can mine through anything. This makes it possible for them to get you from anywhere.
Wizard: Have the beard like honeydew, but have a hood and cape. They cast (fire/snow/lightning spells, depending on there level) spells.
Bowman: have iron armor and a bow. pretty damn simple if ya' ask me.
Honeydew: This would be the main boss. there would only be 1. he usually spawns at the end of the army. He howls "DIGGY DIGGY HOLE" and "I AM A DWARF" and "/GIVE HONEYDEW 64 1". He has the honeydew skin. he has infinite tossable TNT that does not hurt him. he has 300-100 health (I'm really not sure how much he should have)
Zombies used to have iron armor in alpha days now they have rare drops
I think some zombie should have armor or swords. If they had swords, they take more HP, but drop the sword when they die.
If they had armor, they would have more HP, but drop the armor(s) when they died.
Monster - We don't have any water based monsters, so I'd like a Great White Shark equivalent for ocean biomes.
Biome - Another super rare one like Mushroom -Zombie Pigman or Pigman biome. Though this would be awesome no matter what, I'll leave it up to you guys to figure out the particulars.
-Biome- Outer Space Biome- It shouldn't be another world/through a portal, but If you build to the sky limit, You can keep going up If you have crafted a Space Helmet. Then you see a planet (A.K.A The Moon and you can get on it by building to it (You need ALOT of dirt or something). Then you are giving new resources to mine such as Moon Rock. Sometimes, on rare occations, Moon Rock will drop "Rocket Peices" wich you can use these pieces to craft a rocketship. Then you can explore other planets. There should also be an Alien Mob that takes 2 & 1/2 hearts each hit. Deserted Island Biome- If you sail your boat out into an ocean for about 600 blocks, you will start finding chains of Deserted Islands. Each one of these Islands should have 1 coconut tree(adding new wood, planks, and coconuts). There should also be Shark mobs along with Stranded Villagers, which are wearing torn clothes and will drop a coconut and a torn cap, which can be worn.
I also think they should add advanced villages to Minecraft. Like the houses being made of new metals and such. The villagers should also be wearing modern clothes, along with the exeption of new "Scientists" which also come with a Labratory. This would be pretty awesome.
