Intro:When I started playing Minecraft about 2 years ago (2011) I played the blocks out of it, and to be honest, I was kind of an addict to the game. Well recently, when version 1.7 came out, I started playing seriously again, but every time I started a new world, I just quit it. The reason I did was because I simply tired myself out, I had no inspiration, and every time i built a house it just looked, "unoriginal." Well, to fix this problem, I thought I would make a brand new World, and share with you guys, give me feedback and such, and tell me what i could improve. This "Survival Log" is inspired by the one Voxels is doing, as I really enjoy reading each update he post on his topic. Without further ado, here is my Questy Quest .______________________________________________________________________________________ _____________________________________________________________________________________Log #1: A Questy Quest 12/26/13 (Logs 1-3 were did in one "session", so any feedback that i receive can not be input until Log #4)
Here is my spawn point. Looks promising enough, also picked "bonus chest" to get the axe, and bread. I chopped the wood down a bit later. I traveled a bit, forged some basic tools, got some birch wood. Before that, I uncovered two pink sheep, not sure how rare that is, but it is quite a spectacle. Got some more materials, flowers, raw beef, and leather. Woah. Another one of these pink balls of lovable joy. The sun is setting on the first day, hope those sheep are sleeping soundly Made myself a little hobble for my first night, not the most appealing thing in the world, but it will do for a nice first shelter.
Log #2: Oodles of Minerals 12/27/13
Whoo! First cave, got some torches, and ready for an adventure! Looks like i've hit the end of that cave, i'll try again and look for another one. Went to another cave, and got almost a stack of iron, and there is more to get! First gold! Ehh, a shouldn't get that excited, there are still diamonds to find Look who showed up to the party! There ended up being 8 of these gems. Its a long way out of here, but I believe we can find an exit.. or two
Log #3: Pavilion Power 12/27/13
Found a nice little meadow to build some kind of shelter at, could use the nice scenery to my advantage.
Built up a nice little camp to sleep until I handled my shelter situation, has all the basics, and should suit me for now.
Also made a diamond pickaxe, for getting obsidian for Enchant Tables and such.
Whew! So i knew i couldn,t stay in that camp for very long, i was accumulating too many items in chests. A Traditional House just wasn't my forte, so I made these little "Pavilion Huts, they look pretty coolio
This is my bedroom pavilion, where my bed and some storage is located.
This is the Work pavilion, where i craft and do some casual smelting.
I still need to fill these two empty spots with pavilions as well, one might be a little storage pavilion, and the other still needs to be decided.
Finish em' still have no idea what the last pavilion should be used for, but i'm sure ill find a use.
Wowzerz! Pink sheep are quite the rare things to be found, and also i love the idea of this, i'm thinking of doing this too. Definitely following this topic, let's see where this goes!

I'm glad to be an inspiration Things are looking great so far. You should post a reply whenever you update the log though, just so the topic wouldnt eventually die off.
