So my travelling trader disappeared or died while I was away looting a shipwreck. He left me his llamas. I'm not complaining- hey, free llamas- but still, where did he go? Is this normal?
Wandering traders will spawn within 20 minutes of playing in random areas in your world, and will always despawn after some time. Even if you stay in the loaded chunk area, or name them with a name tag, they will still despawn, which isn’t the case for the trader llamas.
There are specific potions for them, but I’m not quite sure about how they work...By any chances, are you playing in the latest 1.14 snapshot?
Just figured out that when I'd turn 8 years old, the 23th of November 2011, my parents could have offered me Minecraft as a birthday gift. Sigh...
Fun but frustrating platformer. Saves me of boredom when I don't feel like playing Minecraft. Knowledge of 8-bit old-school videogames is optional tho'.
Okay, I got a new trader (different game) and he did despawn but left his llamas.
I tamed them. A few days later, they despawned.
Oh, well. I'm on an island now, so not much use for them anyway.
Did you make sure to enclose them in a fenced-in area? If not, they must have wandered far away, but I’m not sure about them...

The game did crash once while I was away.
My two new llamas.

Words of Warning: - You need a software (Clickteam Fusion 2) to run this game.
- The game will probably crash a lot.
- You will rage so much.
- This game is too easy for me. \_(^_^)_/
Yes, I am. I didn't realize they despawn. This is my first experience with them.

Thanks! I tried to reply before, don't know what happened. But anyway, I'm on a tiny island, so no, I didn't figure they could go anywhere!
