Anyway, your guess was half correct. Undoubtedly you've read my one-shot on FanFiction; do you have any comment?
I read through the one-shot, and I love it... but I was very confused as to the reason why you had decided to become suicidal. But the lack of information did not take away from the writing at all, and unlike other one-shots you did not finish it in such a manner that it felt like more should come. I don't know if anyone else has the same opinion, but for me the feeling of completeness in a story is very important, and sometimes the key to good writing, and you certainly managed to accomplish that!
Thanks for all the support! I'm glad you guys like it!
But really, Redyoshi, your sizable mob-trap and farm are even more amazing than my castle. I could never have the patience to construct all of that just for a farm, not to mention the time it would take harvesting the goods. And the only mob traps I've ever created were small-scale.
Your dedication is astounding!

Um, on a side note, does anyone know how to disable the automatic smilies? They're making my evil face look all nice :/
Thanks I had motivation for the mob trap in that I had to find diamonds :< (Nether portal, which I needed for Netherrack for a fireplace for the study that I needed to advance)
I'm having a go at this challenge. First ever one I'll be doing legit... I didn't use the guidelines for the city construction challenge at all.
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
To all of you people who think Notch is still working on the game, he stopped working on Minecraft in late 2011. Get your facts straight and stop spamming his twitter about Minecraft updates.
Finally finished with Phase 3: The Endless Attacks. At some point I'll probably go back and rework some of this. I'm finding that the baths especially could be a lot bigger. I've got 33 villagers now .. it makes taking photos a lot more interesting!
Requirements:
Dormitory .. added another floor. Some rooms have been perked up a bit.
Stairs leading up from second floor dormitory
Mage's new Enchanting Room, a private bath for me, public bath
Wow, everyone has made such great progress! I confess I haven't made any. Someone gave me Torchlight 2 for Christmas, someone else gave me Bastion. Hopefully I'll win both this week and go back to Minecrafting.
Oh, torchlight? Can't blame you. The creators of that game (who also made the 4-part fate series & the first 2 diablo games I think) really know how to make their RPGs.
Anyways, I'm done with the mage's room, just have to remove the last ugly dirt scaffolding so it looks pretty for a picture!
Glad to see the amazing progress everyone has made...my own is pretty badly hindered by all the things I mentioned before and also the requirements of the storyline of my fan-fiction. Also, I've published chapter 6 and thought I'd pop in here to say it'll be my last update in a while and Thistle can review now, in case anyone doesn't know.

Wow, this is an amazing challenge! Ive just started this morning, and I'm working on stage two! By the way, I LOVE the Texture Pack you made, Wolfhound, its one of the best I've seen. I do, however, have a recommendation for the challenge. I think in one of the last stages, there should be a optional req. if you have the correct mods. This is what I was thinking: If someone had something like TMI, they could make an Enderman spawner, at a set distance from the gate of the tower. Along with this, there could possibly be an opportunity to get something back for making your life harder, like a few rare items or something. Just an idea.
I have a quick question... An Enderman teleported inside my tower randomly, does this count as a loss? My Mage took it out almost instantly...
If they teleported inside to get away from sun/rain, then no. It happens. I just chalk it up to my mage using captive endermen for her dark rituals and sometimes lets one escape by accident.

OK, thanks, I wasnt completely sure, and I wanted to play legit. One other thing: Would it be fair to try the challenge in a world already started, with items, etc, or would that be too easy?

Gotta start fresh. The endermen have destroyed everything and you're fleeing a ruined kingdom with barely anything to your name.
