So I 99.9% always play online servers and I know all the ins and outs of it a long time ago when I had my ps4 I use to play survival a lot intill I got java minecraft and started playing servers. I want to get back into minecraft survival so I thought it was best to make a world on 1.13.2 the latest version to get all the latest updates I am not clear of all the updates and things as I played 1.8 on servers
Just go for all the boss fights (Ender Dragon/Wither/Elder Guardian).
On your way, you could try giving yourself some challenges. For instance:
- you could try completing every single advancement in the game, including challenge advancements.
- If you want to spice it up a bit or a lot, go for every single obtainable resource in the game.
- If you want to higher the difficulty and heighten the tension: create a world in Hardcore mode (1 life with difficulty locked to hard), and maybe disable natural regeneration? (Open to LAN, enable cheats, type the command /gamerule naturalRegeneration false, and reload the world.)
As for what to build, I’d recommend all the usual starting builds...(a house, animal/crop farms, XP farms, etc.)
- If you want renewable enchanted books (and possibly saddles, name tags...), build an AFK fishing farm.
- Once you have the resources, create a village in your world, by curing zombie villagers. To spice it up a bit, get all villager professions.
- If you are good at redstone, maybe some automation as well? Such as (semi-)automated farms, piston doors...
- How about a “map wall” near your base? (you create those by putting maps in item frames) That way, you’ll want to explore many areas of your world. And if you want to go for a specific biome shown in the map, you know where to go.
That’s all I can give you for now...there could be more as well. Hopefully you won’t get bored of your world.

Just figured out that when I'd turn 8 years old, the 23th of November 2011, my parents could have offered me Minecraft as a birthday gift. Sigh...
Fun but frustrating platformer. Saves me of boredom when I don't feel like playing Minecraft. Knowledge of 8-bit old-school videogames is optional tho'.
Hey thank you for thoes ideas I will get to work on them they will for sure keep me busy. I will have to do some research on the Elder Guardian as honestly dont know how to fight it I know its in a under water temple?

Yep. Just bring a full set of enchanted diamond armor (Helmet: Protection IV + Unbreaking III + Mending + Respiraion III + Aqua Affinity, Chestplate: Protection IV + Unbreaking III + Mending, Leggings: Protection IV + Unbreaking III + Mending, Boots: Protection IV + Unbreaking III + Mending + Feather Falling IV + Depth Strider III) with all the enchantements I listed behind. A full stack of high-saturation food (cooked pork chop, steak, golden carrots...), a few potions of Strength (I/II, those can help you deal more damage to the mobs you’ll encounter) and most importantly, a few potions of Water Breathing. A few milk buckets as well to get rid of the Mining Fatigue effect.

Don't forget night vision potions and/or jack-o-lanterns or glowstone for seeing what you're doing.
Slimeblocks and TNT can be insta broken even with Mining Fatigue and are very useful for clearing rooms of water as you go along.
Doors and trapdoors are useful for limiting the ability of the guardians to get around and attack you when you aren't ready.
If you've been killing drowned and digging up buried treasure chests then a conduit is nice and largely eliminates the need for Water Breathing and Night Vision and, at least to some extent, the milk. If you pick the right spot to place it it will work as soon as you remove the block you place it on, no need to mine any prismarine, you can use the prismarine in the walls, floor and ceiling as they are. (You do of course have to leave the water in place around it.)
I think they might have nerfed the conduit's nullification of Mining Fatigue since I first used it in the snapshots, either that or you need to remove at least enough water to be able to stand solidly on the bottom in order to dig though the walls in a reasonable time while the Mining Fatigue is in effect.
When I conquered an Ocean Temple in the snapshots I think I was clearing the water from rooms as I went, this last time I mainly just blocked them off with doors/trapdoors and It seemed to take much longer to dig through the walls, though still doable as long as one keeps the guardians from attacking by blocking them with doors/trapdoors/slimeblocks/TNT.

I always used that glitch where igniting TNT with sand on top lets it explode underwater, but I'm not sure if that's patched. It's a thing to consider, though.

Watch out for the crabocalypse. Some say the day will never come. But it will.
Feel free to drop by for a chat whenever.
If you'd like to talk with me about other games, here are a few I play.
Team Fortress 2
Borderlands series (Borderlands 2 is my favorite game, ever. TPS combat is a lot of fun and makes up for the lower-quality story, in my opinion)
Elder Scrolls series
Warframe (IGN is something like That_One_Flesh_Atronach)
Pokémon series (HGSS forever)
Rocket League
Fallout series
Left 4 Dead 2 (Boomer files always corrupt though)
SUPERHOT (SUPERHOT is the most innovative shooter I've played in years!)
Dead Rising series (Dead Rising 2 is one of my favorite games, and the 3rd was a lot of fun. 1st has poor survivor AI and the 4th is bad)
Just Cause series
Come to think of it, I mainly play fighting-based games.
That's not a glitch nor is it necessary to use sand (or gravel, which would do the same thing). Just place dirt around the TNT so that water can't flow in the 9 blocks surrounding it (the 8 blocks surrounding it horizontally plus the block on top). Dirt has a very low blast resistance, so it's very likely that the surrounding dirt will all disappear without having to mine it afterwards.

But if it's surrounded from every side, how can it be ignited? You'd have to carry a lot of pressure plates and/or a lot of blocks with great placement. I think it'd be much easier to use Falling Sand and TNT since that only requires three stacks (a flint and steel, the TNT, and the sand/gravel) and only consumes one use from each.
Thinking about it, TNT exploding underwater via Falling Sand is just a visual glitch depicting the TNT falling out of the newly-created block.

Words of Warning: - You need a software (Clickteam Fusion 2) to run this game.
- The game will probably crash a lot.
- You will rage so much.
- This game is too easy for me. \_(^_^)_/

You could presumably place dirt on three sides plus on top, light the TNT and place dirt on the fourth side before it explodes.
Just testing.
