Desert, followed by Taiga (often I go for taigas, though, since if you find a desert you're bound to find nothing but desert and savanna for the next few kilometers). I'm not really a big fan of either though, they're just the ones I hate the least.
If we're talking about mod biomes, though, Green Swamplands are my most favorite things ever. They don't have the godawful underwater bedding that every other biome (except desert and I think mesa) do, and they're nice, flatter than plains, and have a nice-looking tree type. Plus they don't have the hideous black grass that normal swamps have.

Did something happen to you in your childhood to give you this unreasonable fear of rutabaga?
My favorite is the Roofed forest. But I also like the flower forest. The reason is that both of these seem kind of "Wild" to me... Roofed Forest because its' so dark, flower because of the vegetation.
