I get 1-20 with a x32 texture pack with lowest settings and about 30-40 with Faithful pack on max settings.
I have REALLY low specs.
EDIT:
Apparently 78 when I stare at the clouds..
On Short render and without fancy graphics I get around 20 - 30 FPS when I'm in a plains biome. I get around 1- 5 FPS in jungles and taigas. (without Optifine)
around 90-120, I try to limit it. Whats the point in more fps? It just uses more power for no additional gain
Without limiting I get around 150-200, but in the spawn of the server I play on I get under 20fps.
i usually get around 26-15 on maxed out... with a 512MB graphics card... no optifine... whats odd is i can play dead space 2 and left 4 dead 2 without lagging but minecrap i can't :/
~200 fps on max setting while few chunks are being loaded. Drops down to ~20 while exploring new chunks too quickly, and gradually drops the longer I play... Eh.
I usually get around 50, and I use fast graphics, open GL on, normal render distance, but the highest fps I have ever gotten is 130 something. Highest I ever got with mods, was around 170. I just need at least 90 fps normal... Low fps annoys me.

But on other servers/SP I'd get 20-30. :\
All settings on low.
