Hello, i have set up a little system in order to get to the End Portal quicker. I have a main portal form my overworld, which goes to a portal in nether and in nether some blocks away i have 1 more portal that takes me to a last nether portal right behind the end portal. Is there anyway in order for me to have a Portal that can lead right into the End Portal without having to walk so long or should i just setup some rails?
I believe that the setup that you have is currently the most efficient way. I would suggest that you link the two portals in the nether with either a minecart track or an iceroad and boat setup (if that still works?).
Yeah, it's up to you. Personally I end up Riding some kind of Horse-type through the Nether (helps to have 4-wide Portals' interiors, to avoid Suffocation damage), and set-up Rails with Powered Rails to the nearest Nether Fortress (for Blaze Rods, but lost a Mule that way ).
That way I'm not just " /tp " 'ing everywhere (as over an Hour round-Trip..? gee... no thanks). I plan another Rail line to the next-nearest, but might even leave it uncovered (there are new Explosion, Game Mechanics for Rail-covered Blocks) .
Bad idea. Going to End is an incredible experience. AND it leads to getting the best QoL stuff: Shulker boxes and Elytra.
Far as getting places, my Nether network is laid out totally flat at Y 117. Corridors and rooms are fully slabbed. Nearby places, it is a short walk. More remote locations I got regular ice blocks every other slab. Boating on those is VERY fast.
Go into End armed to teeth and deal with dragon. Once you do, you can go back. Then, go in again wearing stuff you don't worry about losing, make sure to carry an Ender chest with good armor/weapons.
