I was like 'Yeah another hype pumped by a few old games fanboys, what the hell with fascination with old stuff anyway' Took me a while before I realized a few fanboys were around 6 million and the game rocked actually lol.

First time I seen it was during X's "How to Survive your first night" video on Machinima. The video loaded and I was like "What the?...Is that a tree?...What's he holding?...Is that his hand?!...This game looks horrible!!" But I told myself "There are some good games with horrible graphics so I will just sit through this video and watch it..." By the end of the video I was like "WHERE IS THIS GUY'S LET'S PLAY OF THIS GAME?!" At the time he was probably only 5 or 6 videos in his Let's play and I remember watching all of those and immediately I was like "I HAVE TO PLAY THIS GAME!"

I looked at it, I said wow I always wanted to play this, but man I'm gonna keep this a note to self to play... Years later ( 2 maybe 1 and a half ) I started watching Some gameplays, only because my friend from another game advertised his server, Imagicraft. Imagicraft was the day I started playing, so fun. First texture pack was Misas btw

I thought the game looked... good.

This looks, unusual....

Well back then my friend was stuck in a hole. At night. And he would jump out of the hole and there would be these... green things. So when I saw them, I guess that means the first thing I said was, "Wow, I'm not playing any game where you can't live without being eaten by stupid green dinosaurs. Then he tried to venture out and almost blew up and I said, "WHOAH! What the crap is this like a space game or something?" He got back in the hole and I'm like, "Too bad you can't just dig under them," and not knowing he had a pickaxe, I took the controls and punched the blocks to death for 10 minutes til we got to his house. That was back in Alpha.

I said... "Are they ever going to fix those bad graphics"

THIS is the most amazing game ever? This game is terrible, I'm going to tell everyone it sucks balls!

*28 days later* And so then I got my 5th spider jockey to follow me into my gladiator pit and got them to shoot each other! *Friend* Ok, but I was going to- *Me* Oh, and I made a full size replica of Washington complete with us playing at our computers and you shouting FUUUUUUUUUUUUU as a skeleton shot you! Also, i made a huge window with a minecraft scene of a creeper dying from an arrow that looks like real Minecraft, I've read every fanfiction, made 4 adventure maps and came up with an elaborate backstory on how Steve and Herobrine and Minecraft came to be! I downloaded the old versions and the 1.8 pre-release and I made a house of pistons that looks like a blob but when you open the door they all extend and form a house! *Friend* SHUT UPPPPP!!!! *Me* And then I finally found my first slime and made such a huge slime farm that they started glitching into my house above. Also I have a sky mansion thats a 40 by 40 with turrets and a bunch of trapdoors with lava on top that automatically open and pour lava into a moat killing enemies. Also, i created a mob farm that can get over 12,000 drops in 15 minutes! I made an entire spire reaching the sky layer out of obsidian, and made a fall zone from the sky that uses different colored wool and looks like you're tripping as you fall down it! And also-


Basically, I fell in love with this game. I am PROUD to say that I have done all of these except for the Washington one! I've beaten the game on hardmode, and on a dare, got to the ender dragon by chopping down 1 tree. (Hint, find villages, loot chests, make bucket, find surface lava *No digging or block breaking allowed * and then use creeper explosions to get blocks and build a mold, fill it up, get some blaze rods, eye of ender, enderdragon, long fight, WIN!) So yeah, Minecraft is the best game ever, I've also built a fully automatic nuclear reactor that fits in a 7 by 7 space. What are your guys's achievements? I'm sure I've only just scratched the surface. I mean, I've played for a year now and still find new things everyday!

This, coming from a once avid CoD player. *Ahem* Well me and three other friends were playing Black Ops (Yes, quite recent.) when my friend mention Minecraft. He continued to talk about it, so I got interested. Over Facebook he sent me a Minecraft. It was pirated and, for some reason, didn't update. Before trying the game, I took a look at the wiki, absorbing in facts, blocks, crafting recipes, and all that jazz. Once getting into the game, it looked quite alright. And thus began the... The something.

And a small question: Why does everyone question the graphics? Just because a game has "bad" graphics doesn't mean it can't be good, right?

I didn't say that much while playing it, because I don't talk to myself...

but I'm sure it would've been along the lines of "nononononoonononononononoo!!!"

MY FIRST reaction was:HOLY MOTHER OF F*CKING GOD THIS IS FRIGGIN' AMAZING!
I was watching my uncle play on a private server with his friends (right after the Halloween update)...he had made a full scale model of World 2 in Super Mario Bros. 3,a pyramid,a village for him and his friends two live in.

But the most favorite thing that I like about that game when he played it *drumrole* he climbed a snowy mountain,dug a 10x10 hole to bedrock (forgot to mention,he was the Owner of the server),he built himself back up (by filling it with TNT :D),built more TNT up to the skylimit...and lit it.His Minecraft crashed (I laughed my *ss off at that time).*1 hour later after fixing Minecraft*Uncle-"You can play Minecraft dude,but don't screw up my server." I learned about WASD and breaking a placing blocks in 2 seconds by randomly pressing keys.I found my way to the mountain he blew up (the sides were intact -_-)and died by jumping off the hole :D.

well, my friend let me try it on his account for a bit and told me to avoid zombies at night ... Sure enough, night time rolls around and a creeper walks towards me. Not knowing what to expect, I punched it and it exploded a second later.

The first thing I said when I saw it was "This looks dumb" Then my brother had me try it and now I can't stop playing XD

This first thing I said when I saw this was, "WTF why is this game so freakin popular?, Why is it interesting?" So I ended up playing the Xbox version, and got killed by a creeper, and I had to respawn then kill him! Now I see why it's popular and interesting! So I bought it for PC, and now, well.....I'm hooked, I'm addicted to this game, awesome, Pure freeplay of your style, no special guidelines to really follow, this also kinda made me reminise about the old days of Wolfenstein look This game is pure epicness!!

I was like "This is Real ?" and then, 2 minutes of playing "My life have change, Mine 4 Ever for now on"
