id love to forget and go back to randomly exploring caves for mining and strip minin a 50x50 area using stone and wooden tools to get iron also id love to try to figure out redstone again
I think about this stuff all the time. Whevenver I hear songs I listened to while I first started it reminds me of a better time. I can remember the first world I made and how epic it was. But yea I would totally forget if I could. I've had many good memories since then but I think it would be best...
Honestly, Minecraft was best when I didn't know what types of mobs there were, I covered up all the caverns cause I was terrified of monsters, I thought gold was just as good as diamond, and I just didn't know anything. Most people probably weren't as stupid as I was. But now I basically know every little detail about Minecraft, and there's no way I can forget about it.
So if you could forget Minecraft ever existed and start playing again, would you? I definitely would.
sure being a noob was fun once ,but now knowing what i know it makes life so much more fun and intersting while playing minecraft. Also it's not quit the same but installinga big modpack like technic or playing tekkit smp can show you a whle new expierence.
No. While I would love to have the new feeling again I have so many memories and wisdom about minecraft it wouldn't be worth it. I have in simple terms, learned to accept it.
Ok....I've been searching a lot for a mod that changes the basics of MineCraft and makes you play like a n00b! Here it is : http://www.minecraft...n-now-with-smp/
This doesn't... o_o You can't MAKE it feel fresh again this just changes the way things play. Trust me this won't make it feel like it used to
From going to go watch ChaosxSilencer and MinnesotaBurns Go play minecraft i broke down crying because of the memories of my first day of minecraft, I immediately remembered what it was like to just start playing, (I watched Burns' Side). I would like to forget in a heartbeat, Even though I cant without any Scientist assistance or something.
No, no, I don't think I would become new to Minecraft again. I would much rather prefer building nice-looking structures rather than wooden boxes, wiring redstone like a pro rather than failing at making piston doors, and conquering on PVP games and servers rather than getting killed most of the time.
Of course I would. I have thought about it for a long time. Wish I could. I remember when I was a noob. Only knowing how to make pick, shovel, and crafting table

recently me and my hubby had gotten rather bored of minecraft and I finally convinced him to have a normal "no-cheats" survival with me, also at the same time i found a seed I had been looking for for myself (spawning in a mesa) we found ourselves searching for the basics, barely surviving because mesas don't have ANY animals naturally, and having problems finding iron of all things! We are loving it! Because it made us feel like noobs again!
I like having my knowledge. (I generally like having knowledge of anything, including games.)
I can understand why someone would want to, though. The first time that I played MineCraft, the world seemed huge and wonderous. I had no idea what to do other than what I had learned from watching a Let's Play that was made while MineCraft was in beta.
That sense of wonder is something that's so wonderful that I don't think anything could ever be like it.
However, I wouldn't forget everything I know about this game.
I love having the mastery that I have. I always like to learn something new about MineCraft and I can usually find something that I don't know about, whether it's a redstone mechanism that seems arcane and difficult or something from a mod that I'd never tried out before. I don't need to go back to my time as a noob to experience the wonder of something new.
Sure, it's not the same as it was at first. Nothing, nothing can replace those first few days of playing MineCraft.
I wouldn't abandon what I know to have that feeling again, though. I love my knowledge and I love having mastered what I have. For a lot of us, that feeling of wonder is worth losing that knowledge. For me, though, having that knowledge is also wonderful. I love knowing what's possible just as much as knowing that there is so much that I don't know yet.
tl;dr - I love the feeling of knowledge that I have more than I would love having my "just started playing MineCraft" sense of wonder again.

The source of my intention isn't really crime prevention; my intention is prevention of the lie! Yeah, welcome to the Scatman's world!
I miss the beginning feels so much, like owning some gold and looking at an ingot, AMAZING feel. Owning loads of iron. AMAZING feel. I miss the days so much, I joined in 1.5.2 anyways so I'm barely a Veteran, but I miss it soo much but I can't stop playing Minecraft. I need something new or the old feel forever..
I definitely wouldn't want to sacrifice all my knowledge just to start again. I like lording over the noobs.

When I first saw this image, I thought, "Wow. That's an awesome image. I hope I have a chance to use it."
Who would have guessed it would be for the same thread?

Pet me, I'm Fluffy!
I still enjoy playing with full knowledge though.
