A villager should appear *in* the command block. When you destroy the command block, he seems to be floating in the air a bit. I don't know why this is, so my original code had ~ 65 ~ to fix that. 65 happened to be the Y axis that I wanted him to be standing on.

This was all done in Minecraft 1.13.2.
I extend a thank you to both of you, I'll try it later today.
I think my problem with too long a macro may be a limitation of the macro/keybind mod or as Hexalobular suggests, a chat limitation.
I told HazMattMC I've never been able to write a macro with more than 2 trades and have spent considerable time trying (call me stubborn, bullheaded, or MSgt LoRaM USAF, Ret... all apply).
I am like most players, lazy. When I visit a village for the first time I like to install doors on all structures. I have 3 macros that provide 10 doors (acacia, oak, or spruce). A macro that created 1 villager where I could choose from those 3 would be easier but not necessary. I thought that I could easily modify this macro to solve my door snafu.
What I have works and isn't difficult to use, I just like to streamline things. I know I'm not being paid to think! That didn't stop me from trying to improve/simplify things while in the military either!
I presume you're talking about the post above yours?
It works on my test world, 1.13.2
What version are you running?
Did you put the command in a command block? It's too long to run in chat.
Just testing.
Yeah I had to use a command block; that was interesting to do the first time. Basically:

Thanks again,
