So I've been building the Titan on my survival world, I have successfully reached the point where I have 32 villages with one door per village. I have established the snow golem and endermite strategy for the nether portal and have the appropriate number of villagers. Here is my issue, when I go to expand the villages by placing doors north to south alternating between the west and east sides, the villages start having variable numbers of doors. I CAN, however, get it to work up to three doors per village. Only when I try the fourth row do I start seeing the villages go and have variable amounts such as 5 3 5 3 5 3, which is a pattern I noticed. Does anybody know what is happening and how I can fix this problem?
Upon further investigation, it appears that there are also issues when beginning to place any of the additional doors. The farm is 100% successful up to having 32 villages with one door per village.
Exactly the same problem. I used NBTExplorer to keep check on where the villages were created, and it seems that after the first line of doors is placed (and they are indeed 32 villages) the next two adjacent lines will cause villages to be created in some kind of triangle shape (not in the orthogonal line you want them to).
I haven't found a fix, and no matter how I place the doors, I end up with the same thing.
