Hello guys, I was playing on my singleplayer map, and I don't know how to spawn passive mobs on my skyblock map.
I read somewhere that I need a little grass area for spawn zone, so I built a 7x7 area as you can see in the picture and they don't spawn even when I run 24 blocks away. Can anyone help me?

“Never trust the storyteller. Only trust the story.”
I think you're in the wrong biome for anything other than wolves and rabbits but I'd think they would spawn if you wait long enough.
Try building out until you find a plains biome or something.

I'm presuming you don't already have any animals of any kind?
The mob cap for passive mobs is only 10 so to spawn more if you already have 10 you need to either kill off some or move far enough away that the chunks they are in are unloaded.
I have exactly the same problem - no passive mobs spawning even though I have created a nice grass field with plenty of light and I stand 24 blocks or more away. Mine is in the spawn chunk.
If you already have some animals you're keeping for farming purposes, keep in mind that having a pair of cows, pigs, rabbits, sheep, and chickens will completely fill the cap so that more of those animals plus horses/llamas/wolves will never be able to spawn. You need to nametag these keepers so they stop counting towards the cap.

Just testing.

What biome?
Press F3 and read the 5:th line from the bottom.
(You are playing Skyblock in Single Player Mode aren't you? So there are no other passive mobs around?)

Passive mob spawning is quite slow too, unlike hostile mobs.
