Applied Energistics, buildcraft, etc, awesome mods that added flavor to minecraft, but only for so long until you have a billion of every item. So I ripped out all those tech mods and made a new world, but it still wasn't enough....so I removed Rei's Minimap and omg, I got so lost I literally started over in two different places until I actually started using vanilla maps.
Insane how huge of an advantage a little thing like waypoints and a minimap are. Still too scared to remove treecapitator though, my head might explode.
Lol can't wait until the vanilla people get here and are like. "mods ruin the game!!" Anyways, I suggest making a hardcore world and try to finish the game without any major mods. You could have like treecapitator (we don't like head explosions) and stuff, but not anything that majorly alters the gameplay.
Gees I hate those anti-mod guys. They ruin all the fun. But ya, I think that's a good idea but losing rei's minimap would make me roll up in a ball and start crying... You know... hypothetically speaking of course. But seriously, I fear that challenge which probably means it's a good one.
The Meaning of Life, the Universe, and Everything.
lol, i used to be an antimod person, well lets just say i haven't fully figured out which mods to use, i am currently only using forge(of course), NEI, backpack, and bibliocraft(and of course all the little things that make em work), so i have never gotten hooked on that minimap, so this challenge wouldn't be much of a challenge for me!
