So I was just thinking maybe it would be a good idea for anyone with useful hints, tips, time saving techniques, ect, to share it here. Not just for me, but for anyone who wants it.
I dont really have many, although I do have a few
A ) Always corner yourself when fighting an enderman
B ) If you can, get villagers and start a village! (Finding an already existing one and moving them by using doors)
C ) I have no idea, this is where you come in...

If facebook, Myspage, and Twitter were all destroyed, 90% of teens would go insane. If you're one of the 10% that would be laughing at them, copy this into your signature and hope it happens.
Use Trapdoors instead of normal wooden doors. They use half the wood (since you get 2 doors per 6 planks) and zombies can't break them)
Collect wood during the day, mine during the night. Since you'll be underground, the time of day won't matter while mining, but you don't want to be out in the overworld during night collecting wood.
Always take a crafting bench, and wood with you when you mine. If your pick breaks, you're going to want to be able to make another one. It's also good if you run out of torches and need to make more.
-Learn some basic redstone so you can set up semi-automatic farms to save time and hunger in the long run.
-If you're safe from monsters and need one hunger point, eat a spider eye. The natural regen will heal up poison damage and you'll get some nice hunger saturation.
Put a pressure plate on the interior side of a door. This will automatically open when you want to leave and close behind you, and you need only open when you return, as walking over the plate upon entrance will close it. Very, very convenient.
1.) if you dont have weapons and low hp . dig down up to 5 blocks at night and cover the upper portion of the gap with dirt
I did this once, and I fell into a ravine and died. I fell right past a creeper, and he looked as startled as a creeper'll ever look!
The lesson is; NEVER DIG STRIAGHT DOWN
How about this; always make a railway system into your branch/staircase mine, it saves a lot of time

1: Ravines are a good thing. A bit dangerous, but a ravine can provide some relatively easy iron.
2: When hunting enderpearls, instead of gazing at an endrman to make him teleport to you, approach him instead. The more he teleports around the lower the chances of an enderpearl. Also, hit him in the legs. Most likely he'll just smack you instead of teleporting.
3: Always be alert while caving. Just because you lit up the entire cave behind you doesn't mean monsters won't ambush you from there. There's just lower chances of it.

My avatar-Madison Gotha. She knows various weapons, she's a mage/sage, and is somewhat immortal. Madison has the capability of taming and communicating monsters, a genetic trait passed down by her father. 26 physically, 1400-something mentally, and a Lofty Peakian/Zenithian mix. Doesn't really like being called an elf and hates being called human..
I might be Moderator, but don't bother treating me too special. And don't make tons of Ban Hammer jokes, please. Also, I'm an Off-Topic only Mod. Don't ask me to lock a thread or something if it's not in the off-topic
-If you're starting a new Survival game, collect chicken eggs and throw them on ground to make chickens (preferably in a separate room in your base). Chicken pop out eggs, so no real need to feed them!
-Using a lava bucket to throw lava on mobs and quickly collecting the lava source block is a great way to conserve your resources and kill mobs quickly!
Actually, I didn't know some of these! You guys are awesome, can we get MAOR TIPS?!?!?!!?!?!/11111//1//!??!
heh heh,..
- If your looking for diamonds, going down a crater might be a good place to start! Since they drop far down, chances are you will be closer to (or at) diamond level!

Rather than making one huge house, make a series of small cobblestone shacks all throughout your world. Stock each with a chest containing a sword and a couple meat. Then, adventure in the night! Just run into one of the little houses when you get low on food or heath. It will take you half the time to get all the basic resources. Still, you shouldn't mine at night, of course.
Here's what I do:
1) Run from spawn and find lots of wood
2)retreat underground and start upping the tiers of my tools and stay mining until my inventory is full or almost full
3)come above ground and run north somewhere over a thousand blocks and /sethome
4)make underground house with 50-100x50-100 block farm that's 4 blocks high and then go on a hunt for seeds
5)find a mob spawner in a mineshaft for anything but cave spiders or make a large area for mobs to spawn and use water to make it go into a narrow 1 block area, and make the y axis of the shaft large enough that the mob is almost dead from the fall, but still alive so i can get xp and stuff
6)use enchanted everything and start hunting others down and destroying their houses

2. Always carry a bucket of water with you in case you run into lava when mining.
